If you could kindly roast this concept
To begin, I'm not a video editor or anything of the sort. I'm just in an experimental pop duo. I just want to show insight into the process of how we make our music (improvisations, cut-up lyrics, in-studio experimentation). I merely place cameras in the room, ignore them while we do our thing, then try to make YouTube videos on DaVinci after the fact.
This particular video tries to show how we mixed our song using a Tascam Portastudio. I used our performance footage taken from previous videos, and I labeled them according to the fader they belong to. Added a lengthy video caption to explain the process, but also put on-screen text at spots.
How does the concept come across?

Double click and it takes forever; double click twice and a second window without controls opens
This has been really annoying and I can't find a solution that works. Tried reinstalling, tried reset preferences, tried a few others.
Any suggestions or alternatives to VLC at this point?
