Can someone explain why we should care about Orla Kent?

I just dont really understand why her death is important. I've tried to go back and watch old episodes that it's been a while since I've seen, and I'm not getting it yet. Seems like she's just kind of a random death that is being used to explain other things? Or am I missing some character development for her that already happened?

Don't be surprised when Lorier sells out of its watches very fast

So many people are poo-pooing the designs and the loss of acryllic, but the fact remains these are still good microbrand watches for the price. And sales are ultimately what matters. So, just don't act shocked when they sell out today or later this week.

Is it weird to anyone else that the Hornets havent done an introductory press conference with Naz Reid yet?

So, the trade was finalized multiple weeks ago. LaMelo already did an introductory press conference in Minnesota. And there havent been any appearances with Naz and the Hornets anywhere online that I've seen. What's going on? Shouldn't they have done something by now?

Watches are like cars, and 99% of people are better off buying a new Tissot than a vintage Rolex

The parallel in this case is buying a Honda or Toyota new vs a Mercedes with 150k+ miles. Sure the Mercedes might look cool, but the maintenance is going to be expensive. Honda is gonna run just fine for years and years with only basic, inexpensive, regular maintenance.

What are the A tier microbrands? The ones actually worth buying

Everyone and their mom seems to have a microbrand. Hell, my grandma probably has her own microbrand. But if you were limiting to just the top tier microbrands, what are you including? Whatever that means to you, whether it's design, service, actually fabricating their own parts or just assembling a really good watch.

Prople who don't size their watches to their wrist deserved to be publicly shamed

Watch and jewelry shops will literally size them for free when you buy them. For the same reason that clothing that's way too small or way too big looks ridiculous, so does your watch that's still got all of its links and is way too big for your wrist. Give yourself some room, sure, but your watch shouldn't be able to spin around your wrist freely.

Think about it. Christopher Ward is already shedding parts of its identity to make its Sealander look the the Oyster Perpetual by removing the trident. Why not just embrace it fully?

CW watches sit comfortably below Tudor in price. And they offer an entry point for people who might eventually move to Tudor and then Rolex.

And there's plenty of room to move Christopher Ward upmarket to where Tudor is now and Rolex up to holy trinity prices since they're already moving that direction. Maximum profit follows.
