I had a reedy Radon 12t that I thought burned out, so I bought Traxxas 550 motor but the shaft is too long and the pinion gear doesn't slide down more. What am I doing wrong? I also figured it in the brushes on the reedy wore down but that's a different issue now.
It's discounted on the direct site and on amazon. It's $20 cheaper on amazon and i'll get rewards, however its sold through Sain Store, anyone heard or dealt with them? any better dealing direct?

At the park today for my son’s 7th birthday. He’s a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan (so bummed the ride is closed). But when we got around New Orleans square this guy walked by and of course we were super excited to see who we thought was Captain Jack Sparrow. My son said hi when he walked by us and he didn’t even acknowledge us. Plus he was wearing jeans, we were super confused. Is he a cast member? If he’s a guest, why is he allowed to walk around like this? Even I thought he was a legit character, he had the whole Captain Jack Sparrow walk and mannerisms. We saw him again later standing in line to ride Thunder Mountain. So strange.
I have a sheet metal and want to cut a complicated pattern (letters) in the field for a sign. I was thinking of 3d printing a router guide, but are there router bits for steel?! Does such a thing exist? I don't have a CNC machine. I am thinking the hardway is to trace the letters on to it and cut them out with a Dremel but that will take forever. I'm adding text because I have to meet 400 characters I guess.
