Dumbphone switch with baby

This might seem stupid. Maybe those with babies could understand. I am a mum with a 5.5 month old and use my iphone A LOT while they are napping - grocery shopping, paying bills, general life admin. I dont use my phone in front of my baby except when I’m taking pictjres.

But I’m wanting to make the switch to a dumbphone.. has anyone switched while they have a baby? Did you just do all your life admin stuff on your laptop? I know this seems ridiculous (like of course use your laptop) but the convenience with a baby is the current “excuse” I’m stuck on.

How does anyone do this more than once?

I have a beautiful 4 month old. She’s happy (mostly), cute, and by all accounts an “easy” baby. Very wanted, very loved.

But man. Even with all the above, the baby phase is NOT. FOR. ME. Bring on toddle phase - I don’t care about tantrums. Babies are unpredictable and need you and don’t sleep and are LOUD! I know toddlers and kids are too, but you know.

Please tell me this gets better. I love her but wow.

WWYD: out past bed time..

My LO is 12 weeks tomorrow and my in laws 60th dinner is tomorrow night at 6:45pm. Baby goes to bed at 7. Do I try get her to sleep in the pram or just tell them no because it disrupts routine?

I’m disappointed they made the dinner this time knowing we have a LO

10 week old sleep regression????

For the first 6 weeks baby was sleeping between 2-4 hours at a time before waking up to feed. The last month things have gone downhill and she's now waking up every 1-2 hours throughout the night, and even more frequently from about 2am onwards - sometimes awake for 1.5-2 hours from 2am

She is bottle fed breastmilk during the day and formula fed at night. Nothing has changed!! Is this a normal part of development or is there something I can be doing to help??

10 week old sleep- 2 hr at a time max for 2 weeks

baby was sleeping 3-4 hour stretches before this but since 8weeks old she’s waking every 1.5-2 hours. hoping it’s a phase? any experience with similar?

she’s only having small feeds during these wake ups too, no matter how hard we try to get her to have more at a time. she just falls asleep on the bottle.

have cleared her nose, room temp 20 degrees all night, 2.5 tog.

in the early morning hours the sleeps are sometimes 40 mins apart!

Combo feeding to EBF?

Hi! My baby is only latching sometimes as I combo feed and has developed a bottle preference (even tho we pace feed). I was only combo feeding due to some health issues at the beginning but really wanting to EBF - is there hope? It just breaks my heart when she is screaming on my boob. Then other times she will have a little drink but not for long.
