At 10.30pm on Sunday, Manish Singh was returning home from his factory.

The car went out of control while passing through a road in Ghamhapur village road and hit a woman who was washing utensils on the roadside.

Manish came out of his car to check on her. The woman suffered some injuries and was sent to hospital later.

But soon, local villagers and the woman’s family members surrounded Manish and started assaulting him with sticks and bricks.

Manish suffered critical injuries and was left to die, said police.

On getting information, Manish’s family members rushed to the spot and took him to BHU trauma centre where he was declared dead.

Manish’s family members protested in the village on Monday and refused to perform his last rites until all accused were arrested.

The protest was called off after DCP, Gomti zone, Neetu Kadian, and ACP Atul Anjan Tripathi assured the protestors that the guilty would not be spare.

A case under the POCSO Act was registered against Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar's son in Hyderabad following allegations of sexual harassment of a 17 year old girl.

According to the 17-year-old girl's mother, Sanjay Kumar's son Bhageerath, who was in a relationship with her daughter, sexually harassed her.

The alleged relationship began about seven-eight months ago. Medical examination of the girl is yet to be done, who is a student.

Meanwhile, Bhageerath complained to the police in Karimnagar that the girl who got acquainted to him, invited him to her family functions and group gatherings. 

Bhageerath said in the complaint that, believing the girl's family to be trustworthy, he accompanied them and visited some holy places, as part of a friends group.

Subsequently, the girl and her parents intimidated him to marry her, but he rejected the proposal, following which the girl's parents demanded money and also threatened him with false complaints if he failed to pay the amount.

Out of fear, he paid ₹50,000 to the girl's father, but they demanded ₹5,00,00,000. If he failed to comply, the girl's mother would commit suicide, Bhageerath alleged in his complaint.

Two women were seen verbally abusing a group of boys during an argument in a now viral video. After the boys responded back, the women allegedly began tearing their own clothes.

The video of the incident is now going viral on social media. However, the exact location or date of the incident could not be independently verified.

NO MATTER WHAT THE ISSUE WAS, THE PURPOSE OF THIS VIDEO IS TO SPREAD AWARENESS ON HOW SOME WOMEN FILE FALSE CASES & FRAME INNOCENT PEOPLE FOR EITHER THEIR OWN BENEFIT OR TO TAKE REVENGE OVER PERSONAL DISPUTES.

I recently came across a disturbing case from Delhi involving a judge who allegedly died by suicide, reportedly due to prolonged harassment from his wife and sister-in-law.

While details are still emerging and should be treated carefully, the situation brings up an uncomfortable but important conversation — can men also be victims of domestic and emotional harassment, and are there enough safeguards in place for them?

We often (rightfully) talk about protecting women from abuse, but cases like this suggest that the system might not be equally responsive when the roles are reversed. If even someone in a position of legal authority felt trapped or unheard, what does that say about access to support for ordinary men?

Some questions worth discussing:

- Are current laws gender-neutral in practice, or just on paper?

- Is there a social stigma that prevents men from speaking up about abuse?

- Should there be more mental health and legal support systems specifically accessible to men?

This isn’t about dismissing women’s issues — it’s about acknowledging that abuse, in any direction, deserves attention.

It is so easy for a woman to file rape case against any man in india, she just have to say same statement everytime (in Police Station & Court)

Also, Medical Test is NOT MANDATORY... So don't even think that if you don't even touch a girl then you're safe!
