In news reports related to Gaza there will always be a phrase along the lines of “On Oct 7th Hamas invaded Israel and killed 1,200 people and took 250 hostage Israel responded killed 70,000, genocide has been claimed”. Why are the Israelis who also died in the war after Oct 7th never counted?

From my understanding around ~2000 Israelis have died since the beginning Oct 7th war

Almost every interaction with an anti-Zionist goes the same way.

Interaction begins with the anti-Zionists asserting a ridiculous and false narrative, such as: “the Jews are khazars and Europeans with no connection to the land” or just a simple false factual claim such as “70,000 civilians have been killed” or “the ICJ has declared the Gaza war a genocide”.

Response is given how these things are factually incorrect: “the 70,000 number is not all civilians, it includes militants, and the Gaza Health Ministry purposefully doesn’t separate them” or just simply “the ICJ has not yet made a ruling” or “Mizrahi Jews are the majority of Jews in Israel not Ashkenazi Jews, who also have Levantine DNA”.

After being proven wrong on their false claim the anti-Zionist will always just ignore you and pivot to one of the approved phrases: “so you support killing women or children” or “so you support genocide?” or more commonly just “hasbara” or “ziobot” or “+7000”.

So my question is, if the antizionist cause is so righteous, and Israel is so evil, why the need to just lie all the time? Why is there such a fear of history, of context, of any fact that goes against the narrative? If everything is so clear, and Israel is everything they say, shouldn’t the facts speak for themselves? Am I the only who has noticed this?
