How is the Fender Strat issue different than other “lawsuit” claims by Martin and Gibson?

I recently seen Ed “Bud” Cole’s speech to dealers about a month or so ago. He is the current CEO of Fender and a terrible public speaker, was unprofessional and came off like a concerned, uneducated renter speaking at the local township zoning meeting. But I don’t see any difference between what Ed Bud is doing with Fender that hasn’t happened before. Martin bullied Takamine and Alverez for copying their famous guitars and script. Gibson literally sued Ibanez and Dean over their headstock shapes. Not to mention Gibson going after PRS.

I’m also seeing some YT creators and online influencers changing their opinions against Fender. It seems the reason Fender is sending out the cease and desist letters is the same thing that happened previously.

My sisters first smoke using the Weber on a half - Kingsford charcoal and Apple wood

I’ve been smoking for years and I got my sister a Weber for her to try her hand at grilling. She smoked these ribs for 3 hours on the indirect heat using apple wood and Kingsford charcoal. This is the end after she added bbq sauce and caramelized the ribs with a small flare up.
Excellent presentation and even better taste. She can take over the smoking of the ribs - I’m hanging up the tongs hehehe.

What’s the best charcoal to use for smoking? Especially long smokes.

I tend to use Royal Oak a lot because it’s cheaper and I guess it’s habit using it. But Royal Oak burns hot and fast, lots of ash and I use a lot of it during long smokes. I have an offset smoker and I use fruit wood from my own trees (apple, pear, cherry).
I don’t like to use Kingsford because I heard it has a lot of impurities. I think the Cowboy Lump might be my favorite but it’s not always available near me. What’s your go to charcoal for those briskets, pork butts, loins, sausages and chicken smokes??

Not a bad days haul from a very sad dump bin

I pulled a few Ferraris and Porsche from a Kroger dump bin that was very sad to see. The bottom of the bin had some trashed 2023s and 2024s.
I cleaned up what I could and found some 2026 D case and H case goodies.

Who Made Who- Underrated Soundtrack? Or Greatest Hits, great album?

Possibly the most underrated and forgotten soundtrack of all times. Maybe Maximum Overdrive wasn’t the greatest movie, but this album is not just a portion of AC/DCs greatest hits, but it’s a complete experience and matches the movie very well. How many times have you watched a movie and thought, “what the heck is that song doing in there?” (A John Prine quote by the way). What’s your most underrated soundtrack?

Is there a better charging setup?

I have the 40 watt ac dc converter power supply into the 4 amp NiMH fast charger 2975. This is charging a new 7-cell 3000 MAH NiMH battery. (All stock with my Traxxas Bandit, except the new battery). When I charge the battery, the LED is Red, then i connect the battery and it flashes green for about 10-minutes then the LED goes out. No color.
So I unhook and repeat. If I do this for about 3 or 4 times the battery charges full.
Why does it keep cutting out like that?
It did this with the stock battery and the sales guy said I needed a new battery. Any suggestions?
