You didn’t read the description and that’s not my fault with a side of fat shaming

I listed this as a UK 24/26. It’s labelled in the description with 4XL. The listing photo has the brand (Killstar) and a photo of the 4XL label on the garment.

Buying turns around and says ‘size 20 more like 200’ then said it was listed as a 20. Not once in the description did I mention size 20.

Seller also says the item is ‘massive’ and ‘way bigger than a 20’ as well as the ‘20 more like 200’ really irked me.
I’m hoping Vinted sides with me this time.

Crocs Mega Crush Sandals suddenly too big?

Hello all! I've had my Mega Crush Sandals for a couple of years, but these last few weeks I've noticed they're suddenly very 'sloppy' on my feet? I have lost over 100lbs in the last year, but I didn't really think my feet had slimmed down.

The size I wear is currently out of stock and I've not had any luck finding a second hand pair :(

Is there a way I can 'shrink' them down again? The sole part of the croc fits perfectly, it's more that the sandal straps are too big.

They're my absolute comfiest summer shoes and I'd love to keep them going for a few more summers.

Thank you!

Dinner Guest!

Willmot is a cat who actually lives next door but spends most of his days sleeping in my garden. Today he joined us for dinner.

Dalek Drag Queen Hybrid

The most evil creature in the Universe…Dalek DNA fused with a Drag Queen!

I based the concept around 2005 Bronze/Gold Daleks, Mars Attacks, Fembots and other 1960s sci-fi themes.

I made the cone bra (complete with red light-up nips) out of EVA foam, battery powered fairy lights and a leather harness.
My friend 3D printed the head piece for me, which also lights up.
Dress is a second hand Vinted find.

Ibuprofen…

1 year post-op. 110lbs down. I had a full gastric bypass.

So I have arthritis in my hands (I’m only 28 RIP) and also have chronic jaw pain from grinding my teeth. I SO DESPERATELY crave an anti inflammatory for my pain but I’m still wary of taking ibuprofen.

Are we actually not supposed to take it at all ever? I just want some pain relief. I’m taking paracetamol and codeine for my other chronic pain issues but my lord I just want an anti inflammatory!

I was a Suffragette for a living history event!

My local area had a history event, so I took part as a Suffragette.

Shirt pattern is Sports Blouse from Black Snail
Skirt pattern is Cycling Skirt from Black Snail
Boots are from Memery

Hat, scarf and brooch are vintage.
Chatelaine is an 1880s cut steel antique

EDIT; yes, I’m wearing makeup! I’ve got to contend with HD cameras and want to look my best. This is VERY light makeup for me, using mostly powders.

My inch long acrylic green glittery fingernails aren’t historically accurate but neither is my wig nor the synthetic fabric of my skirt. Hell, I used an iron on transfer for my sash- sue me!

1 year post op…suddenly RAVENOUS

I had my operation 20/06/2025.
Lost 110lbs.

These last few weeks I’ve been absolutely STARVING and feel like I can’t eat enough. I’m still getting full quickly but I’m not feeling satiated at all.

I don’t know what I can do.

Getting Dressed- Loosely Edwardian!

Here’s me getting dressed in an Edwardian Inspired costume designed for Burlesque (hence some missing layers)
The show was a ‘Schitts Creek’ inspired Cabaret, so I decided I would perform as the town’s risqué sign! (Iyky)
Some garments don’t fit me quite perfectly as I’ve recently lose a lot of weight.

Fabrics are modern polycottons and faux taffetas apart from my undergarments which are cotton.

Bloomers are Simplicity 1139
Chemise is Angela Clayton Mcalls Pattern M7915
Corset is off the peg from Corset Story
Corset cover is self-drafted
Petticoat pattern is Black Snail Edwardian undergarments bundle
Lace socks are Legavenue
Tea Gown is Angela Clayton Mcalls Pattern M8304
Belt is a Victorian remanent scrap from my Great Grandma’s stash!
Boots are Memery (so comfy!)
Hat is vintage (hence why it’s slightly falling apart)
Hat pin is also vintage

Weight loss leading to feeling objectified

I’ve gone from 150kg to 110kg (330lbs to 242lbs/23st to 17st) and a UK 26 dress size to a UK 18 dress size in the last year and while I was okay in the winter, with jumpers and big coats but since the sun has come out and I’m now in crop tops, summer dresses etc I feel SO objectified?

I’ve always been used to people staring at me- I’m 6ft tall, I have brightly dyed orange hair and I dress like it’s Halloween all year round (most of my clothes feature pumpkins, skeletons, cobwebs etc) but in the last few weeks the stares feel less ‘look at that funny looking person’ and WAY more…icky?

I don’t know if it’s just because I’m self conscious of the way my body has changed but it’s been really weird! I even got catcalled the other day- twice before I’d got to the bus stop! It made me want to march back home and put a big jumper on!

ADHD360, shared care and repeat prescriptions

Hello!

Last year my partner paid for a private ADHD assessment and then medication titration with ADHD360. This obviously wasn't cheap.

She's got the medication on repeat prescription with the GP now, with a shared care agreement in place- however this means paying for another year with ADHD360. Money is pretty tight at the moment.

Has anybody successfully moved to just having their GP manage their medication, therefore having no need to provide ongoing payments to ADHD360?

Any advice or help would be fantastic- thank you
