I just received my anorak. I'll make another appreciation post; this is beyond anything else I've ever owned in quality and I'm EXTREMELY happy with it. But first, I do have a question..

I'm a guy blessed with broad shoulders and chest but a short torso and arms. The anorak is a perfect fit at the shoulders and chest (so I cannot size down), but comically big in length and sleeves. It covers my entire hips almost to the point of looking like a dress and the sleeves cover almost my entire hand. Ideally I'd want the sleeves 3.5" shorter and the length almost 4" shorter. Has anyone even considered tailoring an anorak? Honestly, I'd be scared to considering the exceptional quality of this hoodie.

I've seen a few posts about available 3rd party nibs for the ReMarkable. Most are for the RM2 or are a few years old. Has anyone used third party nibs they consider as good as OEM?

I just loaded about $450 through the Dunkin Android App. It sounds like the following process will result in having all $10 post, but I want to triple check, because I'm planning to load like $1K more credits tonight...

My process has been- going to "ADD/MANAGE CARDS" on the left hamburger menu, then "Add Another Dunkin' Card" then "no" to "Do you have a Dunkin' Card?", Then "next," the selecting $10 value and Paze as the payment option. Once I log into my Paze wallet, I see the green Paze $10 off $10 banner before I pay. I've done ten transactions per card.

I bought a sweater from Dehen1920. It's considerably smaller than it's advertised garment measurements. Stupid me- I didn't address the problem in the 30-day return window, so now I'm stuck with a very nice, very expensive garment that doesn't fit. The major issues are the shoulders are too narrow, the chest is too tight, and the arms are too narrow (but perfect length).

I've seen guides that help you un-shrink wool garments by soaking in hair conditioner, then laying flat and pulling the garment to lengthen portions of it.

Does anyone know if this works with a sweater that wasn't ever shrunk in the first place? Can I make a new sweater bigger by trying this technique?

I don't get it. I've never once had a problem with Venmo, Zelle, Cashapp, etc. Paze seems hell bent on preventing me from logging in. The way they're integrated into payment systems is BIZARRE. There's no Paze app. No direct Paze account. No one to reach out to. Just click the Paze button on the Clover app, and no matter what it fails to login. I've tried the PassKey I set up, tried using my phone/email, etc. It just keeps throwing errors.

I bought an inexpensive domain from Namecheap. I really could care less about the domain itself, changing it would be a hassle, but manageable. I basically won't pay the renewal on principle.

What's the best path forward? Let it expire and then re-buy it? Thanks for the help.

I just had two bathrooms remodeled, and overall I'm extremely happy with everything. That said, in one shower, there's a Kohler KT359214CP transfer valve with six potions that splits water between the shower head and a separate handle. It currently just does shower, handle, or both.

I want to add an option for "none" so that I could set the temp at the ideal position on the main handle, and shut off the shower by turning the transfer valve to "off".

Can someone point me to a resource to understand how these valves work so that I can do my own research before I open it up?

I've been hearing great things about Lululemon underwear, so I ordered a five pack of boxers. On their site they have options for "boxer briefs" and "boxers". I ordered boxers. Before I did though I even chatted with their Customer chat because the photos of the models look like they're wearing boxer briefs. The rep assured me the boxers were looser and even said "if you don't like them, you can just return them for a refund". OK I thought, what do I have to lose?

So I get them today and throw a pair on. They're boxer briefs as I fear. "OK, this is obnoxious" I think. "Why would they sell these as boxers? They're boxer briefs?"

So I go to set up a return, and of course because they're underwear they don't want them back. But the rep tells me because they're worn, I can't return them. Now... this makes sense to me. I don't want Lululemon selling returned, worn underwear. But A) they're selling boxer briefs as boxers which is just a baffling falsehood and B) the rep assured me I could just return them. I only took the risk because she assured me I could return them.

Am I out of line thinking I should be refunded? Thanks for the sanity check.

I began smart home lighting with a v1 Hue bridge. I currently have 80+ lights and devices on a new Pro bridge. I have Zigbee, Z-wave, and thread antennas conencted to HA.

I recently bought Ikea bulbs, some of which are Zigbee and the newer being Thread/Matter. I did this because they're like 15% cost of Hue, and seem to have similar build quality.

The older Zigbee lights surprisingly connect to my Hue Bridge Pro well, and work with my Lutron Aurora switches which are connected to the Hue bridge. There are some drawbacks however like I can't use them in Hue entertainment areas for use with my desktop computer's Hue program app. I can connect the newer matter bulbs to HA via Thread, but they won't "talk" to the Hue bridge (as far as I know). I'm wondering what the best path forward is for "integrating" Hue and Ikea. Is this a good idea? Can I somehow make the switches control Hue and non-hue Thread/Matter devices cleanly? Is is better to dump the Hue bridge altogether and just connect natively to HA?

Just wondering in general what the best mindset here is using my current setup woes as an example (hope that makes sense).

You all probably have received these texts, "Hi Bageland2000, it's Meg with [made up generic company name]. We've been removing mold/fixing roofs/cleaning carpet near [your street address]. Would you like a quote?"

These are fake marketing companies that contractors pay for lead generation. If you show interest, they'll pass your name on to a local company in your area. I get like 3-5 of these a day.

I got so tired of it I've been feigning interest, then writing one-star Google reviews explaining that the company who reaches out to me is paying marketing companies to mass-text everyone in the neighborhood and bother them.

Basically I get an angry call or text immediately once I put up the review. Some try to be patient, all feel like I've done some great disservice to them. I actually feel like it quickly becomes very inappropriate because these people feel all the validity texting you without permission, but you leave a negative review for them and they then feel permission to reach out to try to persuade you to remove it. They literally have my address, so it quickly becomes more one-sided than before.

Am I the asshole?

I call them almost daily because TwiWest Health Alliance is a criminal organization and they can do almost nothing correctly except cut cost by directly fucking their captive members, so in an effort to help as many people overcome the nightmare they've created, I've sent this info. I'll update it if things change with their system.
