Stepping out of my comfort zone today with the 1460 boots and jorts.

These feel a lot more comfortable to me compared to the traditional 1460s.

Both are tegimented. The U1 is super robust and feels like an absolute tank. The 856 is slimmer, really versatile, and I love it with the quick adjust clasp.

If I had to downsize my whole collection, these would easily be my top two. However, if I had to keep just one watch, it would be the 856.

Day two with the watch and another bracelet/strap change. So far, this is my favorite setup.

Swapped the bracelet for a black rubber strap I had hanging around

Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph [SSC965]

I had a spare San Martin bracelet lying around, so I removed the clasp from the San Martin and swapped it onto the T023 bracelet.

The process was pretty simple and mainly involved removing a few pins and reattaching them. I reused all of the original hardware from the T023 bracelet.

I’ve attached some pictures that should hopefully make the process easier to understand and help anyone interested in trying it themselves. I’m sure there are easier or better methods out there, but this worked well for me.

The upgraded clasp has made the watch much more comfortable and wearable for me thanks to the on-the-fly adjustment.
