Started this game as my first RPG, getting a lot of good vibes

I wanted to try a turn based combat RPG because I am not very familiar with the keyboard for gaming but I hope I will make through this game.

It's interesting that Kinemon and Momonosuke were part of the crew for way longer than Vivi was yet a lot of people consider Vivi as an honorary Straw Hat but not these two.

Goes to show how good Vivi's bond with the whole crew was. She grew a lot with the crew and even helped in Luffy's growth a bit.

Nothing against the other 2 but they just don't feel as close with the crew as Vivi did.

Does anyone else think Luffy is kinda handsome?

He looks like Shanks at 40 years old.

Watching OPLA Season 2 and Sanji is a damn charmer

Sanji and Nami actually have some chemistry in the Live Action compared to the manga. I kind of like it.

My favourite scene so far was Sanji telling Nami that he was with her for 4 days while she was unconscious. It was so cute.

Why did the WG affiliated nations agree to treat CDs as gods?

Were the 20 founding nations that powerful that everyone had no choice but to agree to their demands(Celestial Dragons and Gorosei are the top authority)?

What's your favourite romance in One Piece?

Mine is Sanji and Pudding. They were the right people for each other in the wrong circumstances.

I am 99 percent sure they will become canon in the end, there is no reason for Oda to make Pudding captured by Blackbeard otherwise.

If Luffy were to die, what do you think would happen to the Straw Hats?

I think they would team up together and try to take revenge on the person responsible for Luffy's death like Whitebeard pirates did after his death and then disband but continue to inspire future generations like Roger pirates did.

I don't understand the complaint that the Straw Hats don't interact much post timeskip

They do interact a lot offscreen, it's just that the focus has shifted towards the world. For me, the highlight of One Piece is the worldbuilding and plot not just the Straw Hat dynamics.

Besides they all love each other equally and are close with each other. Why do we need more interactions when we already know how close they are?

Toei is weird. On one hand, they dislike Sanji and give some of his moments to Zoro. But they also add a lot of Sanji and Nami filler

None of these are necessarily shipping moments but shippers grasp at whatever straws they can find.

Watching the live action for the first time and Zoro and Nami have more interactions in 5 episodes than they do in the entire anime lol

It seems they are developing Zoro and Nami's bond rather than Luffy and Nami's like it is in the manga.

I actually like the change. They executed it pretty well but Nami says she doesn't have friends so idk if they include Nojiko or not.

Can Luffy's devil fruit really warp reality?

I think the wiki says that its power is limited by imagination. Does that really mean the Devil Fruit can bend reality however Luffy wants?

I love how their dreams aren't beating Mihawk or finding the All Blue but beating each other lol

What's your favourite crew member saying "Luffy will become Pirate King" moment?

Mine is Nami's moment in Wano. Nami is usually the person with the most survival instinct in the crew so if there is any chance to save her life without any risks, she will take it but here, she didn't lie which shows how Luffy's dream is important to her. It also mirrored Bellemere not being able to lie to Arlong.

My second favorite is Usopp's moment in Alabasta.

What is the best possible in universe explanation for the Government not hunting Luffy seriously when they knew about his devil fruit?

I think Imu was just overconfident that no one except Joyboy would be able to awaken the fruit.
