The only time I don’t feel lonely is when I’m solo traveling.

Why am I trapped in this stupid job, I just want to disappear and have no responsibilities

What piece of media impacted you the most when you finally left Mormonism?

Mine was spirited away.
I had finally committed to leaving the church and my girlfriend at the time was into anime and made me watch spirited away with her. When the river spirit remembers his name as they were flying away I broke down in a full on cry. On my mission I completely forgot who I was, I took on a whole new name and was known as elder… my parents called me elder, and family did, everyone I knew called me elder, except my few nevermo friends from highschool. When I got home I was so lost, my mission was hard and dark with months of horrible thoughts and loneliness. When someone called me by my first name I didn’t even know they were talking to me.

I’ll never forget when I finally let go and became me again. I was finally free, I was no longer elder… or brother… I was just me and that was good enough.

Other bits of media that impacted me was Godzilla minus one. Seems funny since it’s a Godzilla movie, but man, when the soldier finally comes home and his partner asks, “is your war over” shiiit that gets me every time.

Alright I’m watching spirited away tonight… the. Paddington 2, then spiderman 2… lol it’s a comfort movie type of week for me.

Should I start smoking cigarettes in the winter so I can be prepared for trail races in the summer with wildfire smoke?

Hey there,
I’m a semi professional runner, I paid to be an amassassasssador for satisfy running this past year and so far it’s been great. They even gave me 10% off my next order after paying 250 bucks to advertise for them on my instagram.

I run really far races, some might even call ultra marathons. I have never won or frankly finished any of these races but I love getting out there and talking to women on the trails.

Recently I’ve been running into issues with wildfire smoke, a few races have been canceled or changed due to smoke, I’ve decided to just run through it but every time I do I feel like I have black lung. If I just got use to this before the fires wouldn’t I run even faster? I know trail running is mostly just walking but sometimes I run on the trails and the smoke inhaling just kills me,

Should I only smoke tobacco cigarettes? Or should I explore other smoking products as well? Could I just vape, those sound tasty, the market down the street have cotton candy flavored vapes!!!!

If your laundromat uses pay range you can use paze to get free laundry using the 10 buck back promo.

You can add 10 bucks to your pay range account every 24 hours to use the washing machines meaning you get 100 bucks of free laundry, honestly pretty dope. I’ve built up a bank for 50 bucks over the past 5 days, the rest of the 10 dollar deals will be used at dominos or Wendy’s since I missed the Newegg gift card deal.

I have 2 cards that qualify for paze so I get 200 bucks of free laundry/food

Why are people so inconsiderate of time?

I’m a dude with bpd and I’m so frustrated with my friends about their time management. Like why are people late? Why do people not rspv? Why do people no show and act like it’s okay? It drives me insane.

Example: this weekend I planned multiple events, one of which was attending a sports event I bought 8 tickets for my friends so we could all sit together, the tickets were just general admission so we had to get there early to claim our seats, I told everyone meet me at the gate 30 minutes before the event so we can get seats, I couldn’t transfer the tickets due to how the event is run so we all had to walk in together, half of the group didn’t show up til 5 minutes after the event started, we ended having to sit in the worst seats of the stadium since the event sold out. I was trying to have fun, but I was pissed, this is my favorite event of the year and they ruined the experience for me and I was the one who planned it.

Later this weekend I planned for all of us to go to a busy Mexican bar to watch the Mexico soccer game, I was told to come and hour early to claim a seat, they all agreed to show up at that time. In the end I was the only one there early, they all showed up 10 minutes after the game started, even after the delay, so I know they weren’t busy, they were just lazy, one of the couples even went out to eat with out telling me and showed up after the first hydro break. It was so embarrassing holding a whole table when the entire bar was packed. I was just alone with my beer pretending I had friends who care about me.

Is this a thing with people with bpd, I am obsessed with being on time, if I know I’ll be late I call text even make up lies so my friends know I care about not wasting their time.

I can understand a few moves of lateness or forgetfulness but at one point it almost feels intentional.

Idk I like solo traveling and doing things on my own, I think maybe basic human relationships aren’t for me, I get to worked up and I like the freedom of being alone too much.

Can’t find this really hot chick I ran 15 miles with during my ultramarathon. Help?!?

I just ran a really far race, probably farther than you’ve ever ran weather boy.

Anyways, during the run this really hot chick ran behind me and instead of letting her pass on the technical single track section I ran infront of her and I struck up a conversation with her. Long story short I fell deeply in love with her.

After almost puking on my 7th gu of the afternoon I stopped to catch my breath and she ran by, I got her first name and bib number and was excited to look her up in the results so I could find her on social media, but I think she dnfed and now she is lost in the sea of other runners.

What should I do? Should I just keep running ultras until I see her again? I really don’t want to do that, I really hate running! Please help me. I think this my only shot at love.

Every budget solo traveler should get the venture X card.

I’m a budget solo traveler who generally avoids any credit card with fees. My brother talked me into the venture x after he explained the travel credits and global entry, which alone pays for the fee, but man this card came in clutch for my recent euro trip. I’ll list my favorite features.

Lounges: this is pretty obvious as to why they are awesome, but free food and alcohol for any flight from most airports is awesome! The Dallas cap one lounge was unreal for my 5 hour layover, got a quick cycle and shower, then Unlimited food and drink. also flights internationally were great, I had some cheap ryan air flights from krakow to London and what not, a 50 buck flight with a buffet and unlimited booze is a great travel day compared to the old days of buying cheap pastries to bring on a flight with me, this alone saved me a huge chunk of cash and got me some of my biggest meals for free.

Hostel world in cap1 offers usually gets 20x on reservations, this is not amazing as it’s 20x just on the deposit, but still better than 2x.

Travel portal for finding cheap hotels and home stays then using the travel eraser to save on those nights you decide to go fancy and get a private room.

Global entry/tsapre check for free.

Travel insurance with flight purchases and they are 5x

Free GigSky for e sims, I got lucky and used their free eSIM for most of my trip, you get 3 gb for Europe, which goes faster than you think, then 7 days in uk unlimited, I had to buy some for Poland since I ran out but it was 30% off due to using the cap1 card. So in my 3 week trip I paid less than 20 bucks for a eSIM.

Idk most complaints I see on this card is the loss of getting multiple entries to lounges and what not, overall this card is clutch for solo travelers.

I now have 80k points I will be using for my next trip, I’m planning a SE Asia trip for next year and hoping I can swoop a dope travel partner for an award flight, maybe even first class if I get lucky.

Tatra national park near Zakopane, Poland was amazing.

The cobblestone trails lead to more careful speed walking than running, but I had so much fun. If you find yourself in krakow make sure you spend some time in the mountains down south.

Staying in hostels while traveling for a marathon is amazing.

I just ran the Riga Latvia marathon and stayed at the naughty squirrel party hostel. It may of been the funnest thing I’ve ever done. The hostel was full of young runners all coming to throw down miles on the streets of Latvia. The hardest part wasn’t joining the pub crawl the night before the race, some runners did somehow lol.

I made friends before the race that i attended the expo with and got our bibs, we then went to a local run club shake out run where we met locals and other travelers.

Post race the hostel organized a marathon of beers where we had a comp to see who could drink the most beers in one night. Then went to a karaoke bar that we got kicked out of after one to many celebratory shots.

Genuinely funnest week of my life. Made life long friends and will be staying hostels for races in the future. Will it result in your best race? No. Will it result in pure fun? Likely.

Riga Latvia marathon has a section called song alley where a massive traditional choir sing their songs of independence.

Genuinely the coolest experience of any marathon I’ve done, the marathon passes the choir and dancers twice, one is probably around mile 10 or so, then the second time while you are in the pain cave after 20 miles or so.

Almost everyone had fun running and cheering the first go by but almost everyone runner was silent the second pass through, it genuinely gave me chills and made me tear up.

Latvia has such a rich history of independence and song was a huge part of their cultural preservation. Highly recommend Riga next spring, it’s a fast course as well.
