Animal Farm: Redux

Animal Farm: Redux

Now, I've seen a lot of hate going around for the most recent film version of Animal Farm. And while I can see some of those points, I thought the film was...okay for what it is. So, I sought to rectify this via some changes of my own.

  1. Use a poster similar to the one shown above.
  2. Keep Snowball male.
  3. Set the film firmly in 1950's England.
  4. Make the cast all British, Welsh, Scottish or Irish.
  5. Have the film start off seeming like an overly cute cartoon animal movie, but then slowly but surely descend into the horrors the book presented, complete with an R rating.
  6. Keep the book's ending intact, though suggest that there may be some hope for the future.
  7. Play Ice-Nine Kills' "The Nature of the Beast" over the credits.

So, whaddaya think?
