They put Lobo on the 'Supergirl' Digital cover art

Digital stores have been updated with the Supergirl cover art assets featuring Lobo. A week ago, they were using the image of Supergirl by herself doing the "superhero pose".

Before it hit theaters I expected it on Digital on July 28th (about 30 days like Superman), but maybe it'll be coming home even sooner now.

VIDEO: James Gunn raves about Tom Brittney, the rumored DCU Batman actor: "Tom Brittney tested [for Superman], and he's an amazing actor, and I hope to use him someday"

Interview from last summer where Gunn raves about Tom Brittney, who was a finalist for Superman and is now currently being "rumored" for the DCU Batman.

>Josh Horowitz: It was it was it was David, Nick, and an actor I believe Tom Brittney was brought in...

>James Gunn: Okay, I'm going to take a risk and say yeah, it was Tom, who is amazing. He's tested for me a couple of times. He's one of my favorite actors in the world, and I normally don't say when an actor tests because that's up to the actor to say if they want to say if they tested. But I'm gonna say in this case that Tom Brittney tested, and he's an amazing actor, and I hope to use him someday. And I hope other people are turned on to this guy because he keeps being near misses, you know.

>Josh Horowitz: Were Nick and Tom's takes interesting in their own way?

>James Gunn: Oh my god, they were so good. They were so different and so good. Yeah, Tom was really fantastic, yeah.

'Supergirl' writer Ana Nogueira on the ending: "There was never another version... I knew it was something that James [Gunn] had also wanted"

>Brandon Davis: I was surprised to see Supergirl kills Krem, which was satisfying, I'm not going to lie to you. Good. But like, was there ever a version where anything else happened, and why was that the decision to have her do that without Ruthye even knowing too? Like she's freed from it and doesn't even have to worry about it.

>Ana Nogueira: Yeah. There was never another version, really. That was it. From soup to nuts, from the pitch to the script, yeah. And I knew it was something that James had also wanted. And it was also the thing that was, to me, the most moving... to have Kara, you know... my hope is that like, by the end, you want Krem to be killed, right?

'Supergirl' writer says James Gunn was "protective" of Superman and had her change some dialogue: "There was a couple things... where he was like 'he wouldn't say that to her'"

>Brandon Davis: Does James Gunn become a little bit more like, "Hey, Superman's got to be..." Is he like protective of Superman?

>Ana Nogueira: He is protective of Superman. There was like a couple things in other moments where he was like, "He wouldn't say that to her." And I was like, "Okay, cool. Cool." But mostly... Mostly we were in the same... Had the same idea.

Final 'Supergirl' scene was originally the post-credits scene, but they decided move it up to the actual movie

>>!According to Gillespie, an earlier version of the film did have a post-credits scene, but he made the choice to ultimately move that sequence up to become the actual ending. The scene in question features a reunion between Supergirl (Milly Alcock) and Superman (David Corenswet) as she returns to Earth, ready to settle into a life of superheroics.!<

>>!"There was a discussion, but ultimately it was really the scene with Superman," Gillespie tells Polygon. "Where that landed, it felt better to be part of the film."!<
