My pc told me it needed an update today, so I told it "no, don't ask me for another 4 weeks" like I usually do, after a faulty update in October destroyed my laptop's boot sector.

So tonight, I was playing Denshattack and the game crashed, and figured "alright, the Fates want me to go to bed" and told my pc to power off.

As soon as it started the power down sequence, it decided to force an update on me (which I had explicitly denied) and once it finished, it presented me with the usual "Shutting down" screen.

That was 10 minutes ago. Am I safe to just turn off my pc by holding down the power button/unplugging it?

I am currently on vacation and did not bring the rules with me, but I recall seeing that the same Power may be used multiple times in a turn, as long as it's on different Phases. Is that true?

If that's the case, the Useful Terms card (from RCR) says that Reactions are "Like Powers" in that they can only be used once per turn - but if Powers can be used multiple times per turn, can Reactions?

Also, my brother found something in the 2014 rules about different cards letting you use the same power, is that also still the case in DE?

Hi! I've been working on a mod for the original, free version of Spooky's, called Scardy-Cat Edition - basically, all the specimens are terrifying and give me nightmares, but i want to try playing the game for real (without removing the Specimens entirely, which I know is an option) so I've made this mod!

However, as previously mentioned, I am a scardy-cat, and am genuinely worried that I've missed something in the main game that I need to replace still.

So, I'm here, asking people much braver than me! Would anyone be willing to help test out this (admittedly, quite sh*tposty) texture pack?

I'm trying to come up with one final alien species for playable species in my TTRPG, and I'm starting to have troubles coming up with interesting ideas.

How do the rest of you come up with interesting and unique concepts for aliens?

Hi! I'm working on Scardy-Cat Edition, which replaces a lot of the scary monster designs with dumb, silly and non-terrifying designs, and I've been faced with a conundrum: there's a number of .obj files under DATA\3D - many of them have an accompanying texture file, and have great names, like "spooper" which tells me exactly what it is.

However, some of them are labeled things like "npc_7_tex" which is unhelpful (that's the Ghost Cow, by the way) and, even worse, some of them have no texture file at all, like "tank2" which does not tell me where it's used.

And, finally, we have the main concern: can I just replace them? I have no idea where most of these are really used, and some of the monsters (like Lisa) have several model part.

Is there anyone else who's tried messing with/replacing the obj files that could help me out?

Edit: to clarify the reason I don't just replace them and test it myself is that I am a scardy-cat and do not want to see the monsters if it doesn't work >.<

FRICK I forgot to mention that this is the original Gamemaker/free version >.<

Tl;dr - how do I tell what cards go into which Investigator deck??

I just picked up the Arkham Horror Card Game from my public library, and all the investigator cards were shuffled into one huge deck. I've noticed that a lot of the cards have a color/symbol combo that matches character cards, but there's also a whole bunch of these random gray/black cards (and no Gray/Black Investigator character card) and, mixed in with these, are Tretchery, Weakness and a few Enemy Weakness cards, though they have the same deck back as the Investigator Cards, rather than the tentacles that the rest of these types seem to have.

While the "Learn How to Play" book features a list of cards for Roland Banks and Wendy Adams, I've got two problems with those as well: First off, it's listing this I can't find, like the Magnifying Glass, and, much more importantly, I'm noticing that cards like "Paranoia" or "Manual Dexterity" have absolutely no marker on them about who starts with it in their deck - and i know that not everyone uses them, since Wendy Adams doesn't use them.

Also, someone will fall down the stairs.

I'm working on a texture pack for a game, and I want to replace one of the enemies with Walter White's floating head.

However, the enemy is pre-rendered to be viewable from multiple directions, with a total of 8 sprites, meaning I need to find images of Walter White from the front, both sides, the back, and the front and back diagonal directions.

I've never seen Breaking Bad, and have been told that I would not at all enjoy it... so, I figured I would come here and ask for help! I've already got the front-facing image, so I'm still lacking the other five. Could anyone point me towards some screenshots?
