Is a 6+ hour delay normal?

Alright so I ordered 3 of the same item on the app to arrive at 4 (tipped and paid for priority) and atm its 8:30. It says the order is now scheduled for 10. There's no shopper assigned. There has been, but they'll accept and then cancel. I have read that it's likely my order got placed in a batch with people who ordered like 60+ things and didnt tip. Is there really no way to avoid this? Have any of you experienced something like this :/

I Mcquit this Mcshit (USA)

Man after almost 2 years of putting up with this nightmare I'm finished. I'm usually scheduled for about 4 or 5 days a week and it's been a nightmare. I'm completely fine with the shift frequency, but I've wasted far too much time telling every manager I possibly can (including the shift manager) that I hate working service and want to be trained in the kitchen. Week after week, its always "Ok ill get back to you on that!" And they never. Do. I hate working service. HATE it. I'm 24/7 on back window, getting barked at by customers, taking cash, getting hustled by 75 year old women to give them a dime instead of a nickel because they're owed 6 cents and we don't have pennies, doing dishes (including cleaning crusted egg trays from 6am at 9pm), putting them away, making iced drinks, getting told off by managers because I need to finish the dishes while being yapped at by a customer on the speaker placing an order, etc etc etc. 1 second of silence and then DING new order. It's not like there aren't other people to do the job, either. But day after day, for 8 hours straight, I'm the only one doing back window. I constantly hear my coworkers laughing and chatting from the kitchen and front whilst I'm sentenced to absolute isolation and anytime I try to converse with someone either theres a new order, or a manager barks at me to go do dishes. DO THEM YOURSELF. YOU SPENT THE WHOLE DAY YAPPING WITH OTHER EMPLOYEES AND MAKE $5 MORE THAN I DO. I persisted and persisted, but never got trained on kitchen because they know fully well nobody else wants to do back window. WELL TOUGH. NEITHER DO I. MAKE THEM DO IT LIKE YOU MADE ME. The people up front act like you're asking them to climb mount everest whenever you need to go on a bathroom break and they have to take over. 5 minutes in the bathroom, and someone barges in asking you if you're okay and that you need to get back to work ASAP. They're clearly misogynistic too. If you're a woman, you are essentially doomed to be a service worker and nothing else. 90% of the kitchen staff are male. So long as you walk through those doors with a uterus and pretty face, your only option is service. One of the only women who actually managed to make it into the kitchen is the shift manager's girlfriend. Doesn't even matter how poorly you do. I even resorted to purposefully messing up orders and paying out the wrong vehicles so they would quit putting me on back window. Guess what? I got even MORE shifts on back window. So I'm done. I'm not showing up. No 2 weeks notice or anything. I have a bunch of shifts this and next week on back window. I sincerely hope that the managers have to struggle and scramble to find coverage. Oh, what's that? You don't like it when people don't listen to you and do inconsiderate things that make your job frustrating and miserable? Good. Wasted 2 years of my life having to deal with just that.

Tonya isn't as bad as People make her out to be

Okay so I know this is an absolute scathing take but hear me out. Most of people's issues with Tonya are her entitlement, her brattiness, and how much of a snitch she is. I have a little sister, and can testify that the show's depiction is pretty accurate. Since she's the youngest, she's coddled by her parents and thus feels the need to suck up to them by ratting out her siblings. My little sister was DEFINITELY like this. Including the lying: "She hit meeee" (I most definitely DID NOT.) She grew out of it once she wasnt 10 years old anymore. Little kids LIE. And they lie A LOT. Especially when they're scared of their mother who once SHOVED A SHOE up Chris's ass for being disrespectful. Her behavior is more of a result of Rochelle and Julius's parenting. There still are quite a few episodes where Tonya gets her ass beat though. Even when Tonya does try to pin something on someone else, she always ends up confessing to what she did. One of the most wholesome scenes for me was when Julius asked her if she knew where his quarters were, and she instantly replies that she was taking 1 coin from each roll to form a new roll to make him happy. (9 year old logic, but still cute). Even when he tries letting her keep it she still insists on "gifting" it to him. The main issue is how Chris is treated in comparison to her, for example not getting presents when Tonya and Drew do. This, again, is Rochelle and Julius's fault and not directly hers.

TLDR: Tonya is an annoying younger sibling but isn't THAT terrible. She lies because she's 9 and doesn't want to get physically harmed by her mother and rats out her siblings for an extra layer of protection. I'm willing to wager that if Rochelle weren't so aggressive with her punishments Tonya wouldn't lie as much.

Size xxs 2nd hand dollskill

(OK dollskill is a controversial company, this was 2nd hand lol) Dress was a little baggy upon arrival, the shoulders were meant to be much higher but kinda dropped. This was all fixed by a cinch belt though which kept the dress from slipping ;))

Are House Phones and Flip Phones common?

From what I know, smart phones are carried by many people in the US. Are house phones still used in households or are they a thing of the past in the states? What about flip phones?

I try to avoid my mother as much as possible. Her personality is repulsive, she has lost any and all friendships she once had, she's argumentative, overcritical, obsessive, and all around unpleasant to be around. Last night, I was laughing while on call with friends. She then proceeds to send me an entire paragraph; "how's that wonderful ignoring me working out?" to which I, confused, responded with a laughing emoji. She then sends another paragraph questioning why I was crying but also sending her a laughing emoji. I just stopped responding there. The self absorption is insane here; first of all, I was laughing with friends, not crying (She wouldn't know the difference because she doesn't have any). Second of all, why on God's green earth would I ever cry over her? I hardly think about her. Shes a lonely, miserable woman who has dug her own grave and has had (and still has) numerous chances to make things right with the people she hurt. Why must everything always be about her? Does she honestly think she's on everyone's minds 24/7? No, mother. I am not crying about cutting you out. That was the best decision I have ever made. But stay in your delusional fantasy world if it keeps you from getting physically/verbally aggressive with me or my siblings. I, on the other hand, will continue to go about life laughing at the top of my lungs and never becoming the person you are.

I've seen previous posts on the topic and nearly everyone states that their IDs are scanned to buy a membership or checked upon arrival and that's never happened at my location. I've never brought an ID once. I even explicitly told the staff member that I was a minor and put I was born in 07 instead of 08 so I didn't have to bother my parents (they both work full time). He didn't even mention it and just let me in after I paid. People at my gym just scan their barcodes and enter without any ID checking. Is this unusual, or are lots of locations this lax?
