A unique meeting over food in Europe-Serbia(Jadovnik)mountain.Largest carnivores in the country.Three Wolves and Two Bears.
When three Wolves were feeding on there meal while 2 young Bears(more or less 2 years old)came around the same area looking for food most likely.
The three Wolves successfully chased the two young Bears away(who are still sticking together because they just recently got to live away from there mother.Tho the two will seperate once hibernation period comes up again).
If the two Bears were much older and experienced. The three Wolves would pose much less threath to them(tho they probably would be by then larger threath to eachother than by any other animal in the region).
But the Bears didnt remain hungry.Cause they later came back later to feed on the same place.
Kašan feeding round is amazing natural intact place in Serbia(up to 1000 m in height).Protected and helped by great work and effort of local communities.
An amazing Oasis of nature with:Griffon Vultures/Red Foxes/Grey Wolves and Brown Bears.
With the feeding grounds being protected(as well helping Bee keepers not get there salarys lost).

Daily Megafaunal facts! There isnt just 1 species of mostly carnivorous Bear but two!(besides most known Polar Bear).Sloth Bears eat mostly insectivorours diet(which still is meat-animal based diet).
And besides that both of these Bears are fierce megafauna.
We know why Polar Bears are tough.Tho Sloth Bears are able to fight off Tigers and Leopards(cause they co-evolved besides them in Asia).Charging at there attacker throwing off there ambush predator way of attacking there prey(not even backing down from a Leopard who made a kill that easily).

UK Drops Climate Crisis Support for 2nd Largest Rainforest
The UK has abandoned projects worth tens of millions of pounds that were meant to help protect Congo rainforests and support local people.
Together, these initiatives would have made up around half of the £200m that the UK pledged to support conservation in the Congo basin – the world’s second-largest rainforest.
When it hosted COP26 in Glasgow, the UK led a new initiative to end forest loss, which included a collective pledge by 12 donors of “at least” $1.5bn (£1.1bn) for Congo rainforest nations by 2025.

secure.speciesunite.comWhat are your thoughts on Back-Breeding as a form of De-Extinction of fauna compared to other forms of fauna De-Extinction?
It may not be Genetically accurate as well say:Cloning(that can get 1 to 1)/Genome(editing that gets half as close)/In-Vitro fertilisation and artifical Insemination(which can get very close or 100% close).
But I think Back-Breeding even tho it isnt 100% accurate or hold as accurate as other methods(it can still be greatly used).
Is much faster than other Methods(with faster breeding species and in general breeding animals selectivly saves time.Than doing genetic testing on how to make a animal alive again)and failure in it is hardly seen(cause the attempts can be retried many times).
With decent success stories so far:
Tauros/Taurus programs who are working on breeding back Auroch from domestic Cattle are seeing some results. The Auroch and Cattles DNA is more or less identical(so DNA isnt much of a issue). The behaviour and features of Tauros need to be perfected still but so far the progress is very good(and they are being introduced into European landscapes for restore cological impact).
Floreana Giant Tortoises sub-species were driven to Extinction by Sailors using Giant Tortoises as a food source. But they did leave some of them on Isabela island were they hybridized with other Giant Tortoises. The Backbreeding program restored the mostly Floreana Giant Tortoise characteristics and DNA(with them being reintroduced back into Floreana to restore ecological impact).Lonesome George who(was a member of Giant Tortoises of Pinta Island)is another Sub-Species of Giant Tortoise in same situation. In time we can see Giant Tortoises like Lonesome George again(with most of there DNA intact).
Quagga Project is a program working on back-breeding a Plains Zebra(Equus quagga)that looks just like Extinct sub-species(Equus quagga quagga)endemic to South Africa(of which it is a sub-species of Plains Zebra. So the genetic material is identical). With the brownish pigments and exact color markings. The project still hasnt reached the exact match but good progress is still good progress.
