I am wondering about anybody’s experience with the repayment program or the hardship program.

I spoke with somebody a couple of weeks ago and they had given me an offer both a monthly amount as well as interest rate amount And said that the account would be closed and I had agreed To those terms. then they had told me it is subject to approval and I had to wait and keep calling back to check.

I called back this week and now I was told I have to wait for a letter in the mail to see if I am approved for the repayment or hardship program.

If anyone has been through this before had that been your experience with the process?

last week I called Capital 1 about a repayment program and spoke with a customer service representative who had offered me a specific monthly amount and interest rate, which I had agreed to and then they told me to call back in a couple of days for more details.

I called back today and spoke to a different customer service rep who told me I have to keep calling back every few days. There is no specific timeline he said but now I’m waiting for approval and they did not have a determined amount of time as to how long that would take for the approval process.

Wondering if anyone has been through this process before? approximately how long did approval take and did your original repayment offer change from your credit card company? It was different than the original?

I know that everyone’s experience with therapy is different, I guess I’m looking for some inside or even suggestions. I’m going through some deep grief and have been for the past couple of months very strong attachment bond to the person that I’ve lost. prior to this I had started IFS therapy for other reasons, mostly related to relational family issues, work conflicts but unrelated to my loss and grief. My therapist attachment theory, trained, and IFS modality trained But not specific grief, modality therapy. I’m just wondering if anyone who has been in deep grief or acute grief while also doing IFS therapy Has found it to beneficial, related or unrelated? I’m going to continue with IFS therapy But debating also seeing someone for grief as well.

I know therapists have an ethical obligation to not talk about their clients or their clients circumstances with their spouse, but does anything actually guarantee this? Not that I think that my therapist is doing this. I regard them as an ethical professional, but today I found out that my therapist‘s partner works for the same company that I work for, even though my therapist never told me this directly I know from something today that this is fact. I am currently on a leave of absence for health reasons from this company, But I don’t like knowing that my therapist’s spouse is someone who also knows me directly. In addition, my therapist’s spouse’s ex-spouse also works for the Same company I do and prior to my LOA them and I directly worked on projects together in the same department. My co-worker would often talk about their ex’s new partner (my now therapist) but nothing identifying back then. I don’t think this is a conflict of interest or anything but it‘s just leaving me with some unsettled feelings about it all.

I have 2 credit cards one with an interest rate of 19% the other with an interest rate of 7% both have limits of 5k and both balances are each around 4k.

im working on paying off the 19% interest rate one putting all of my extra additional cash onto it until that balance gets lowered and then my plan is to attack the one that’s at 7%

My goal is to have the rate credit card paid off in 10 months. I don’t use it anymore..

a financial lender , not my bank, Offered me a secure loan (I have a mortgage) At 12% interest.

I’m comfortable working towards paying off my credit cards on my own as I’ve been doing , but wondering what the pros and cons would be to going with the financial lender for secured loan to pay off both credit cards. I know I would be tied to a fixed monthly payment and now I have more flexibility with the amount I put on my credit cards, My second credit card is only at 7% so 12% would be higher for that would it be worth it for me to pay off the one higher interest rate?

so I had a pair of shorts in my cart that were priced at $34.97 and then a T-shirt that was $39.95 - CDN. So this was last week and I wanted to wait until today payday to buy them so I go to my cart. Both of those items have gone up in price so the shorts are now $49.95and the T-shirt is now $45.97. And then I get some email for a mystery offer which I get 25% off of when I revealed it but I can’t use the 25% on either of these items. What the heck??!!
