Hello! I just signed up for my third pottery class and am looking for some must need tools now! Something that makes your life easier, or adds some quick flair to pieces! This past semester I got shaped ribs, underglaze transfers, and a 48 pack of all the basic ceramic tools. What else do I need??? Thank you :))
I never knew they were a thing until recently but I am obsessed with them! The way their feathers curl up is so stinking cute 🥹💗
This sweet girl is still getting her feathers in but she is shaping up to be beautiful!

I sneeze 3 times every time I do!
Hi! I’m planning on making pasta tomorrow and I’ve seen several recipes calling for different kinds of flour. I’ve seen one or two mention “00” flour - would this one work for making my pasta from scratch? I just didn’t know with it being “long fermentation baking.” Thank you!
Here’s mine! 😭
Hi! I (21F) have been struggling with bad anxiety for the past few months due to some pretty big stressors that popped up in my life. I've dealt with just about every symptom in the book and even ended up in the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack because of it..
However, these past 3-4 days I've been developing some blurry vision. I pretty much have to focus on focusing (if that makes sense) or else there seems to be a film over everything. I have to tell myself to snap back into reality or I just immediately enter a dissociation stage. It's been so frustrating having all these new symptoms pop up, and I hate feeling like I can't even remember what I did today without having to think back on it.
Has anyone else experienced symptoms like this before with anxiety? Obviously I've dealt with my fair share of brain fog over the years, but the vision is a bit concerning to me. It's definitely exacerbated by screens but I'm able to type this out still, there just seems to be floaters in my vision almost? It feels like my eyes just can't stay focused. Like I can look at something but I have to focus on actually seeing what it is.
I don't know if any of this makes any sense but I just wanted to see if this is a common issue for anyone else? And if anyone has any remedies? Thank youu
Hi! Me and my boyfriend have been paying 2 rents for the past month as we slowly move into our new house. It's a super cute location but today was the first time I've gone down there for a more extended period and noticed some pretty big red flags popping up.
Firstly, there seems to be a water leak in the bathroom. The toilet runs every 10-15 minutes without any prior use and is causing our water bill to spike.
There may also be a gas leak but we're not 100% certain yet. We just got charged $100 for gas and we haven't been there for more than a combined 24 hours, and definitely have not had anything running that would be draining that much gas. I don't know if this is a leak or an issue with something else in the house, but it's not adding up.
Next, the AC unit is not working at all. When we came in today, it had been set to 67ºF and the house was at 79ºF. It was a rainy day too so I can't imagine how it will be in the heat of the summer.
Also, one of the neighbors approached us today and told me that the past tenants moved out specifically due to the AC and water issues. Obviously the rental company corrected absolutely none of these issues and just relisted the property. It's a multi-state company called American Avenue (if anyone has any experience with them) so they're not the easiest to get up with at all. We're in North Carolina if rental laws change per state.
Where do I go from here? I'm honestly just so done with this place and everything popping up that I'm ready to just cut ties and leave it at that. However, they said breaking our lease agreement would leave us paying almost $3000 up front, after already dropping more than that amount on getting security deposit, first months rent, and last months rent in.
None of this was disclosed to us and all issues were present before we moved in. Is there anything I can do about this or am I just gonna have to suck it up and either front the money or live there for a year? Feeling very discouraged so any advice would be great!!
I’m a 21 year old woman and have been taking THC edibles regularly for about a year now. Usually anywhere from 20-50mg, maybe occasionally more. For maybe a 6 month period, it was about every night to help me unwind.
I always thought it was harmless but I’ve been seeing articles recently that they can cause heart attacks or strokes (25% higher for heart attacks, 42% for strokes). I’ve stopped since then because it’s freaked me out so badly (I also have very bad anxiety). I want to slowly ease back into them, as they really help with my every day stress and have been a great tool for controlling my anxiety. However, ever since I’ve seen these articles I’ve been spiraling and worried that I’m going to be the next statistic.
My question is how likely is it really for something like this to happen? I know it’s relative statistics, but those numbers are still super scary to hear. It’s been really stressing me out but I went to the hospital a few days ago for a bad anxiety attack and they didn’t say anything looked abnormal with my heart, so I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience with this? Is it really something I should be concerned about or am I just getting in my head?
I (21F) posted on here a week or 2 ago about how I was having classic heart attack symptoms (shortness of breath, heart/chest pain, tachycardia, palpitations, extreme fatigue, etc). When I went to the hospital they did multiple tests and said all is well, so I assume it’s just my bad anxiety. Especially since I have some bad stressors that popped up recently. Posting on here really helped me rationalize that there was nothing wrong, but I still can’t get rid of the physical symptoms.
Anyways I’ve been able to calm myself down mentally about all of this (for the most part) but the symptoms are still lingering regularly. The worst is when my heart feels like it’s beating out of my chest and I’ve genuinely done nothing. It’ll be when I’m laying down or just walking around the house, and still it will flare up really bad.
I am trying to get on some propranolol to calm my physical symptoms, but does anyone have any suggestions for in the meantime? I’m going to try CBD I think, but I have a super busy next few days at work and I can only imagine how bad it’s about to get 😭
ALSO I would really love some reassurance that my heart is going to be okay through all of this. I’ve definitely developed a lot of health anxiety around it since it’s happened, and I’ve been convincing myself that all of these heavy heart beats are going to damage my heart beyond repair, and that I’ll manifest the issues I’ve been so worried about. Is this a rational concern or am I just getting in my head?
Hi all! About a week and a half ago I started having chest pains/tightness, shortness of breath, fatigue, and pretty fast heartbeats regularly. Obviously these are pretty clear signs of a few major heart issues, so I went to the hospital to get checked out.
They did several tests, including an EKG, chest x ray, and blood tests. Nothing came back and they discharged me that night.
I’ve still been having these issues every day, however, and was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues/experiences with this due to their anxiety?
I’ve always had pretty bad anxiety and have a few big stressors that came up recently, so I’m hoping that’s all it is, but obviously anything to do with my heart is gonna freak me out. So, has anyone ever had anxiety flare ups this bad that they appear as typical heart-issue symptoms? Thank you!
