Apple’s Immersive video pipeline is too slow, so I spent a month filming Europe in 8K VR180 to rival their quality. Here is Ponta Delgada (Zero Narration). (Free) 🇵🇹🎥 Self Promotion Saturdays

Since the pipeline for official Apple Immersive drops moves at a snail's pace, I decided to take things into my own hands. I spent an entire month filming across Europe, pouring considerable resources into building a custom workflow that could rival Apple's million-dollar budget films—just to give this community the high-fidelity content it’s been asking for.

This week’s release takes us to Ponta Delgada, the breathtaking capital of the Azores archipelago. For this entire film, there is no voiceover. Just the ultra-high-fidelity ambient audio of this mid-Atlantic paradise—the crashing waves of the ocean, the gentle breeze cutting through the lush volcanic landscapes, and the authentic sounds of the historic cobblestone streets. It radically shifts the experience from "watching a video" to pure, unfiltered teleportation.

Chasing Apple’s Quality (Without the Hollywood Budget)

My absolute obsession right now is proving that an independent creator can deliver an immersive experience that rivals tech giants.

Using my newly rebuilt custom camera rig and precise stereoscopic depth-tuning workflow, I am getting closer than ever to the visual clarity of Apple’s official proprietary productions. You don't need a $30k URSA Cine Immersive camera to maximize this headset. The depth in Ponta Delgada’s vibrant green landscapes and historic architecture is so sharp it genuinely feels like you can reach out and touch the volcanic stone.

Spent a month filming Europe in raw 8K VR180 for Apple Vision Pro. Week 3: The cliffs of Ibiza (Zero Narration). (Free) 🇪🇸🎥

This is week three of releasing the footage from my month-long filming expedition across Europe. I rebuilt my entire capture and depth-tuning workflow from the ground up for this trip, with one specific goal: to push the Vision Pro's hardware to its absolute limit and deliver the highest raw quality possible for this community.

Thank you all for the incredible feedback on the first two drops. You made it clear that standard travel vlogs take you out of the experience, and pure presence is what matters. So once again, there is absolutely no narration or voiceover in this video.

However, unlike last week's purely ambient audio, I’ve set this episode to an instrumental Balearic house soundtrack. It perfectly matches the vibe of the island and creates an incredibly relaxing viewing experience.

The 3-Month European Roadmap

New immersive episodes drop every single weekend. Here is where we stand on the summer release schedule:

  • ✅ ~~Week 1: Portimão (Cliffs & Sea Caves)~~
  • ✅ ~~Week 2: Porto (Vertical City Presence)~~
  • 📍 Week 3: Ibiza (This Week's Drop!)
  • 🇵🇹 Lisbon
  • 🇪🇸 Valencia
  • 🇪🇸 Majorca
  • 🇪🇸 Cádiz
  • 🇪🇸 Motril
  • 🇪🇸 Melilla

Put your headset on, load up the video, and let me know how the audio mix and raw visual quality feel on this one!

You wanted more Apple Immersive content, so I spent a month & considerable resources filming Europe in 8K VR180. Here is Porto (Zero Narration / Pure Presence). (Free) 🇵🇹🎥 Self Promotion Saturdays

We are all starving for more official Apple Immersive videos. Since the pipeline for those drops is so slow, I decided to take things into my own hands. I spent an entire month filming across Europe, pouring considerable resources into building a custom workflow that could rival Apple's million-dollar budget films on a creator budget—just to give this community the high-fidelity content it’s been asking for.

Last month, I shared the kickoff of this massive VR180 project, and the response from the Vision Pro community was incredible. But more importantly, I heard your feedback loud and clear: Lose the background music and the "annoying narration." Just let us exist in the space.

You spoke, I listened. 🤝

This week’s release takes us to Porto, hands down one of the most breathtaking, vertically stunning cities I have ever captured. For this entire film, there is no voiceover. No artificial music tracks. Just the ultra-high-fidelity ambient audio of Portugal—the wind rushing over the Douro River, the distant hum of the city, and footsteps echoing on historic stone. It radically shifts the experience from "watching a video" to pure, unfiltered teleportation.

My absolute obsession right now is proving that an independent creator can deliver an immersive experience that rivals tech giants.

You don't need a $30k URSA Cine Immersive camera to maximize this headset. The depth in Porto’s incredibly narrow, colorful streets is so sharp it genuinely feels like you can reach out and touch the tiled facades.

🏔️ The Ultimate Vision Pro Test: I filmed Colorado in True 8K VR180 (And it actually rivals Apple's own Immersive Content)

Are you tired of low-res content that doesn't do justice to your headset?

If you're looking for an experience that truly pushes the Apple Vision Pro to its absolute limits, I just released a massive 8K stereoscopic VR180 tour of Ouray, Colorado. Outside of Apple's official studio productions, this is one of the highest-fidelity immersive travel experiences currently available on the platform.

Instead of a flat screen, you are standing at the base of towering 13,000-foot peaks rising directly from the streets below. The sense of scale, depth, and verticality is insane.

What you'll experience:

  • Box Canyon Falls: Stand inches away from a massive, dramatic vertical drop.
  • Million Dollar Highway: Peer over the edge of the rugged San Juan Mountains.
  • The "Switzerland of America": Explore historic Main Street completely surrounded by massive canyon walls.

HOW TO WATCH (CHOOSE YOUR DEVICE)

For M5 Vision Pro Owners: Watch the 8K VR180 version directly via the YouTube app or browser. 👉Watch on YouTube Here

For M2 Vision Pro Owners: For full-resolution 8K VR180 playback, DeoVR is your best bet to avoid compression. 👉Watch on DeoVR Here

I need your feedback: I want to keep pushing the boundaries of what third-party creators can do on the AVP. Let me know what you think of the image quality, the 3D depth, and how it compares to Apple's native immersive videos!

I filmed Cartagena in 8K VR180 for Apple Vision Pro 🇨🇴 | Highest bitrate travel experience outside Apples own Immersive Videos (Self Promotion Saturdays)

After weeks of filming, editing, color grading, spatial alignment, and encoding, I finally released my new VR180 experience of Cartagena, Colombia for Apple Vision Pro.

This wasn’t pulled from a studio pipeline or generated with AI. I filmed and produced the entire thing myself specifically for immersive headset viewing. My goal was to push visual quality as far as possible for standalone Vision Pro playback.

Locations featured include:

• Cartagena Walled City
• San Felipe Fortress
• Colonial streets & plazas
• Oceanfront sunset views
• Flamingos & macaws near the port
• Fortress tunnels and ramparts in full VR180

The biggest thing with this release is image quality.
I exported this at an extremely high bitrate and, as far as I know, this is currently one of the highest bitrate public VR180 travel experiences available outside of Apple’s own immersive content.

For users with the M5 Apple Vision Pro, you can enjoy the full 8K version directly on YouTube:

Watch the 8K YouTube Version

For users with the M2 Apple Vision Pro, I recommend watching through DeoVR instead, where you can access the 8K stream more reliably:

Watch the 8K DeoVR Version

This is mainly a codec/decoding issue.

A few things I’d love feedback on from other Vision Pro users:
• Sharpness/clarity
• Sense of scale
• Compression quality
• Motion smoothness
• YouTube vs DeoVR differences
• Overall immersion

Trying to keep raising the bar for cinematic VR180 travel content on Vision Pro.

I think this is the closest I have gotten to Apple Immersive Video quality outside Apple’s own content 🌆🎥 (8K VR180 Downtown Miami) Self Promotion Saturdays

One thing I keep seeing in this sub is people asking for more immersive content on Apple Vision Pro beyond Apple’s official Immersive Video catalog.

So I’ve been pushing VR180 production as far as possible with consumer-accessible hardware and workflows to see how close independent creators can get to that “presence” feeling Apple’s content has.

I just released an 8K VR180 immersive tour of Downtown Miami designed specifically for Vision Pro viewing:

• Kaseya Center

• Bayside Marketplace

• Biscayne Bay boat ride

• Water-level skyline shots

This wasn’t shot on Apple’s $30,000+ immersive camera systems or a Hollywood pipeline. But with high bitrate exports, careful stabilization, depth-focused framing, and lots of obsessive tweaking, I think this gets close enough visually to be a good free alternative.

For people with the newer M5 Vision Pro models, YouTube now supports full 8K playback in the headset, so you can watch this directly in the YouTube app at 4320s quality for maximum detail.

People with the M2 Vision Pro version can also watch it for free in full quality on DeoVR, which currently handles high-resolution VR playback really well.

YouTube:

https://youtu.be/XYpeS8r6rpo

DeoVR:

http://deovr.com/u2bovi

A few viewing tips:

• Manually set YouTube quality to 4320s (8K)

• Use headphones or AirPods

• Watch in a darker room

Also would genuinely love feedback from Vision Pro users here, especially around sharpness, depth, motion smoothness, camera movement, narration, and overall immersion. I’ve been reading a lot of comments from people wanting more “pure presence” style immersive experiences similar to Apple’s content.

Based on prior feedback, I’m currently working on alternate versions without narration that focus entirely on natural ambient sound and environmental immersion. Those versions should start releasing soon, since a lot of people seem to prefer quieter cinematic experiences where it feels like you’re simply there inside the environment.

I spent a month filming Europe in 8K VR180 just to push the Vision Pro to its absolute limits. The realism is getting dangerously close to teleportation. (Free / No Paywall) 🌍🎥 Self Promotion Saturdays

Just spent an entire month filming across Europe specifically for the Apple Vision Pro, and I genuinely think these are the highest-quality immersive travel videos I’ve ever produced.

After watching the footage back inside the headset, I truly believe this is some of the best immersive travel content currently available outside of Apple’s own proprietary productions shot on the URSA Cine Immersive 30K system. The realism is getting dangerously close to teleportation.

Before packing my bags, I completely rebuilt my workflow from the ground up to solve the bottlenecks immersive creators have been chasing for years. The jump in quality from my older videos is massive:

  • Using Newly Released stabilization pipeline
  • Highly precise depth tuning
  • Improved color science & better motion pacing
  • Significantly higher bitrate exports with custom compression handling

The craziest part is that the new M5 Apple Vision Pro can now stream YouTube VR180 content in full 8K directly through the native YouTube visionOS app. We finally have the effortless clarity this medium deserves.

But don't worry—if you're using the M2 Vision Pro, I’m hosting the exact same master files on DeoVR so you can stream the full 8K immersive files completely for free. I just want as many people as possible experiencing what this headset can actually do.

This Week’s Premiere: Exploring Portugal’s Jaw-Dropping Cliffs & Sea Caves (Portimão)

We explore the insane cliffs of Ponta da Piedade, hidden beaches, glowing turquoise water, and take a private boat directly into the Benagil Cave. The depth and lighting inside the cave are unreal—some of the shots genuinely feel like CGI when viewed in the Vision Pro.

🗺️ The 3-Month European Roadmap: I’ll be dropping a brand new immersive episode every single weekend. Coming up next:

  • 🇵🇹 Lisbon
  • 🇵🇹 Porto
  • 🇪🇸 Valencia
  • 🇪🇸 Majorca
  • 🇪🇸 Ibiza
  • 🇪🇸 Cádiz
  • 🇪🇸 Motril
  • 🇪🇸 Melilla

I’ve become completely obsessed with pushing immersive travel content as far as possible because the AVP is the first headset where this medium truly feels transformative.

Would genuinely love your feedback on this premiere!

I recently hiked the Trading Post Trail at Red Rocks, and I’m incredibly excited to share this experience with you all.

I’ve been heavily refining my pipeline to push the absolute boundaries of immersion, and this is definitively the highest fidelity 8K 3D VR180 video I’ve produced to date. Pushing the Canon EOS R5C footage through Mistika VR and Topaz AI really helped lock in a level of sharpness and stereoscopic depth that finally feels true to life.

If you have a couple of minutes, strap on your headset, make sure the YouTube app is cranked to the absolute maximum resolution, and take a walk with me. The spatial presence when you're standing right at the base of these formations is wild.

I would really appreciate some critical feedback from this community. How does the 3D depth feel on your specific headset?

Thanks for taking a look!

Enjoy Telluride in peak winter. Snowy main street, old western buildings, and mountains wrapping around you in full 180. Shot slow and steady so it actually feels right in a headset (no spin, no rush).

If you’ve got a headset, try this one:

https://youtu.be/FipA48z8hVo

Genuinely curious how it feels on different setups:

  • does 60fps look smooth to you?
  • any compression or clarity issues?
  • pacing feel natural?

Trying to squeeze every bit of quality out of YouTube VR180.
