What should I name our new baby boy??

EDIT: I know this is not at all what I requested for suggestions, but I think we decided on... 🥁🥁🥁ROSCOE! If you have something better feel free to let me know :) thank you everyone for your comments.
Isn't he so cuteness?? 😻
He's SO sweet. He's still a bit nervous of course as he's trying to settle in, but as soon as I touch him, basically as soon as I look at him he starts purring.

My older female white and grey tabby's name is Jade (like the crystal).

I'd like a name of that nature but I haven't liked any I've thought of. Something not super masculine, but still a humany name.

Thank you in advance! I'm stuck!

(I posted here because r/cats wanted like a four step verification and I'm feeling too lazy lol)

What should we name our new baby?

We picked this gorgeous crowntail up from my favorite local shop today :) he seems to be mostly orange with some white scales throughout.

I like 'inconvenient' government names with realistic nicknames.
For example: my current mustard gas's name is Ticonderoga, or Tike for short.
Our late koi plakats name was Plutonium, or Pluto for short.

So far, the only names we've sort of liked are:
Crush (like the soda, that one's normal but cute!)
Traffic cone- traf(FICCO)ne
Lorax- lo(RAX) or lor(AX)

Hopefully the layout of the nicknames makes sense.
What suggestions do you have? 👀🧡

Could I sell these?

Hi everyone :) I'm a bit nervous to make this post, so please kind words in the comments.

I started playing around with nails about a year and a half ago (at 17 years old) with no experience whatsoever other than with paint on canvas.

I have minimal supplies (and minimal money to buy more, lol) so most of my sets are mostly art and less charms, chromes, etc.

I have been making them consistently for myself and for family and friends, and have been pushed very hard into selling them. Which I'd like to do, but I have never used acrylic, and don't have any license, and am not as experienced or creative as the rest of the competition with press on nails.

My mom actually went so far as to buy me the packaging (cases, mini glues, mini files etc) because she genuinely believes I could make money out of it.

I am quite a bit of a perfectionist so they take me a while. Lol

Would you buy these? What could I do differently? What should be first on my list for products? What's trending that people would want? These sets are all ones I've done for myself/ my family.

Thank you in advance! 💕

These posts are annoying, but is this rejecting?

Please anyone let me know. I've been hyper fixated on it recently and it's bothering me. It's been pierced since January.

First photo is from right now (the skin is red because I anxiously tried to remove it and couldn't get the ball off, it's not usually red) and the second picture is from February.

Are shrimp beginner friendly?

Hi friends! The tank in question is nonexistent so I don't have photos. I have been fish keeping for 8 months, but have SO much to learn still.

I am about to have a fish free 20 gallon tank unfortunately because of my need to downsize, and have a 5 gallon I'm planning to fill with the plants and seeded filter from my 20g.

It initially was just going to be a snail tank (for my undying love of pest snails), but I have been wanting yellow/orange neocaridina shrimp since I started the hobby. They feel intimidating though, like overly fragile and a whole different realm.

I'm sure many posts like this have found their way to this subreddit, so I'm sorry if you're sick of seeing the same thing, but please convince me that I have nothing to be afraid of!

You see a lot more "why is my shrimp sick" posts than "look how beautiful and healthy my shrimp are", and I think that scares me too. What have your experiences been? Is 5 gallons and lush plants enough for them to thrive? What else should I know/get for them before I get some? Thank you in advance! ❤️🦐 (pic for views)

How do we HONESTLY feel about 5 gallon tanks?

My betta (6 months male, Ticonderoga, pictured) is in a 6 gallon tank because he injured himself in his 25 gallon and that made it hard for him to get around. He seems to love his smaller tank!

I have a 5 gallon long tank that I was intending to STOCK with plants from my other tanks, and just keep it as a snail tank, because I love snails so much. But would a betta also be a good option? Perhaps a longer finned one, since plakat bettas are faster and able to explore more.

I know that is the bare minimum, so are they truly thriving in 5 gallons?

How to transport fish safely?

Hi friends,
I'm 18 and just moved became independent and living in my own. My mom actually, funny enough moved out of MY house, and left me to take over bills, so I never had to move my fishtanks.

Unfortunately, I fear I have been neglecting my tanks. I have 3 tanks and love them dearly, but with all of the housework and 'work work' that I've been doing, I've been unintentionally avoiding my old bedroom (where the tanks are).

Thankfully, there is a great fish community in my area, and I found a great couple to take one of my tanks stock. 10 ember tetras, 5 panda cories, and 5 endlers. However, I'm pretty far out of town and away from the city, so this couple is a bit of a drive. About 45 minutes from home.

I have a seeded 5 gal filter, two 2.5 gallon buckets and a portable pump. How can I properly transport all my fish (preferably all at once, I also have a boyfriend to drive me so I can keep the fish steady in the passenger seat)? Thank you so much in advance. I have until this weekend to figure something out.

Also, if anybody has any idea what kind of endlers these are, I'd appreciate some ideas! I do not remember lol.

TLDR; how can I safely transport 19 nano fish 45 minutes away for rehoming?

Transmission fluid?

*edit to be more specific. Yes, the fluid is getting changed! I would obviously not be buying it for no reason. No, the person who improperly changed the oil will not be the one to do so. And yes, the person who is doing it is familiar with it. Thank you

Hello everyone, I am F18 and don't know really very much at all about cars.

I just spent 3500 on a 2012 Subaru Impreza a week ago, my boyfriend changed the oil in it (which he's been doing in our cars for over a year), and accidentally drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil. Oops.

So now we obviously have to replace it, and my brother in law, who is 'knowledgeable about cars' says we HAVE to spend $110 on the transmission fluid. (Pic 1) It HAS to be this specific one, he says. Is that true?

I just moved into my first home, I'm scraping for money, and thankfully the transmission isn't screwed.. but I can't really afford $110 either right now, especially when to my knowledge there is other CVT oil in all these auto shops around me. (Pic 2)

Can I use something cheaper? Thank you in advance!

Am I overreacting for thinking by these screenshots something might be going on?

Context:
EDIT: I see now that the disappearing messages are OFF. All I saw was the disappearing messages part. Lol thank you!

My (F18) boyfriend (M19) and I have been together for 15 months. He jumped from relationship to relationship before me, no biggie. My friend, who is dating my bf's best friend, said she heard he cheated on one of his girlfriends, but I've never had any bad feelings from him.

He is genuinely so sweet and would walk to hell and back for me. He puts up with a lot of stuff from me (mental health wise).

He is gone at work for 12 hours a day. I have his location and we live together (I don't work so when he's home I'm home), and nothing suspicious has ever happened physically.

I am very 'can't shut my brain off to go to sleep', and tonight I used bf's phone to watch some YouTube to help me sleep. Upon scrolling for a video, the ads popped up. SEVERAL more that aren't pictured. Idk how algorithm works really, but I sure don't get ads like that on my phone.

I didnt find anything weird in watch history on YouTube. No weird search history on google, besides the twitch thing. Idk anything about twitch either. But that's what popped up.

He deleted instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook early into our relationship. We later deleted TikTok together.

Recently he has redownloaded Facebook for marketplace, I never thought to look at it. I know he had dating profiles before we were together, but all of the notifications from FB dating have been since he redownloaded it. Someone even liked his profile. He told me he never really used it (before me), but there were many many people he swiped left on. Idk how that works.

Then, finally, on instagram which he allegedly hasn't had in over a year, his ex girlfriend was unblocked. No big shit. But I see the "swipe up for disappearing messages". I know how instagram works. There's nothing like that on any chats of mine, especially not for people I haven't texted in 70w.

Is this a coincidence? Is this his past coming back to haunt him? Or is this pointing to something else? Thank you in advance for any advice. Please don't hit me with the "you're stupid if you stay", I'm emotional. Lol

Are golden barbs too busy?

This is my fourth fish tank. I've been wanting neocaridina shrimp (yellow specifically) since I started, but my fish have not been compatible for shrimp breeding (as in they'll eat the fry), and they're not cheap. I understand barbs will eat fry, but are they too zippy for adult shrimp?
Could I have shrimp and Kuhli loaches since they both occupy the bottom? Are gold barbs too busy for the loaches?
What bacteria starter sort of thing would you recommend for biofilm and such for the shrimp to eat? What would you change in my tank to better supply my dream? Can I feed shrimp only veggies? Thanks in advance! 🦐
