Is this a bug hole?
Inspecting a new pair today and I saw this circular indentation. It doesn't go all the way through the shell. What is this?

I'm not sure if this is normal, but I assume probably not because it was all alone with no parents or siblings around, so it was probably rejected by mom. What would cause it to look like that? Egyptian goose probably. South Florida
Edit: yay he is perfectly fine
They are starting to develop a tiny bit of shine. Yay!
For context, the part that inserts into the lid (not the bite valve!!) of my camelbak water bottle somehow has mold growing within the silicone. I clean both silicone parts regularly, but just recently this part won't come clean no matter how much I scrub, scrape, or even boil it. Idk how mold can even grow inside of silicone, but that's just my amateur observation
I've had this bottle for years, and I'd like to reduce overconsumption and not buy a whole new water bottle over one part if it's possible.
I have scoured the internet for a replacement, but the closest thing I could find was a replacement of the whole lid, which is more than I'd need since my plastic part is fine.
If such a thing doesn't exist, I will accept my fate, but I figured I'd give this one final shot and hand it over to reddit to see if anyone else has any insight here where all else has failed
Florida. This little guy has something strange growing(?) out of its butt, but it was still alive and flying around. Any ideas?
I was looking at the Galaxy 100 lite, but I wanted to know if there was anything better before I make the final decision.
Things that are factoring into my decision:
I am an enjoyer of THOCK
The numpad is non-negotiable because I would need it for work
I don't want a separate numpad even though I know there are probably better small keyboards out there (my port spaces are limited and I just don't want to deal with more items)
I am a casual gamer
This would be my first mechanical keyboard
I would like something moddable as an intro to the hobby
Thanks!!
Also I've never seen them look so lumpy. I think surely they must be something else because I can't believe I would be so lucky. Located in Florida
I can afford it, but it's basically all my money right now. The best cars I have otherwise are the Mercedes AMG one and the Ferrari sf90 stradale
This is a cheap $17 pair from Amazon. I was hoping all of the frost would be gone by now, but it seems to stay in the deep crevices no matter how much I brush. I know patience is key, but seeing people's spotless 1 week updates makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong. Advice?
My balcony is completely screened in, and I don't see any openings big enough for him to get out. At first I thought he must have come in from somewhere, so surely he could get back out, but he has been in this same corner for 2 or 3 days now and I'm getting worried. I left him a small clean salsa lid of water for now, but further advice would be appreciated. Are there any safe ways to relocate geckos without scaring them into dropping their tails? He's so cute and I don't wanna hurt him on accident 🥺😭
He is so well camouflaged with the leaves that my reverse image search is confused. Any real human eyeballs would be appreciated 👍
Also what does that mean for the type of care they need? (Photos 1-5 are walnut 1, and photos 6-10 are walnut 2)
These are from Amazon. Also, I accidentally swapped their places between the first photo to the recent ones
I recently received my first pair of wenwan walnuts which came with a boar bristle brush. I am doing a lot of brushing to try to get the hoarfrost off, and I think it's making a difference but I can't really tell. I also have been using toothpicks to get any stuck bits of fruit. Is a nylon brush required to remove the hoarfrost, or will the brush I have be enough if I keep at it?
