Gamenative makes me want to kms

I have been able to play one single game on it, everything else about this app has been a nightmare. I like Gamehub, but there are some games I really want to play that don't have controller support and afaik there's no way around that. Heard Game Native can map keyboard controls to your controller but this app is barely functional. Am I stupid or something or is this just unbelievably finicky and unreliable?

EDIT: I pretty much gave up, but am now using Gamehub to map the keyboard and mouse to touchscreen controls, then using the RP6's touchscreen keymapper, and setting them to 0 opacity. It works, though not perfect. Super unsatisfying mouse look movements lol.

Another game finished on RP6

The Darkness 2 on Gamehub. Don't judge me, but this is my all time favourite game, my comfort game I play at least twice per year. Also basically the reason I got the RP6 over anything cheaper since it had enough power to run it. Love my RP6, love this game. Good times. Ignore the cat hair covered bag lol she had been using it as a bed

RP6 arrived, set up, and first game conpleted

Killzone: Liberation from the PSP. I know, an odd first game to choose lol. So happy with the device. I did as much setup as I could by importing all my ROMs, emulators, config files etc onto a micro sd so I could just plug it in and start playing with minimal tinkering. Been great on my breaks at work. Both my and my wife work in a hospital and would take all our lunch breaks together, but recently I moved to a new position at a different hospital about 30 minutes away, so she bought me this. Still miss our lunch breaks together, but this lil device has been great for my breaks.

As for Killzone Liberation, I give it a 6.5 out of 10. Fun but a little jank and at times frustratingly difficult (looking at you, escort mission in the final chapter) but overall a fun way to kill time. Story was minimal, voice acting was pretty cringe, but it was fun in the way B movies are fun. However, I could not for the life of me get the 5th DLC chapter to show up. Onto the next game!

ES-DE Android not showing downloaded themes?

I have a few themes that I downloaded, from the ES DE Themes gitlab page. None of the themes I place in the themes folder are showing up? I am placing the unzipped themes folders into internal storage/es-de/themes, is this not correct? I can download themes in the theme downloader inside of es-de, but not ones added manually.

EDIT: Updating with the fix because I couldn't find any other solutions on reddit, in case anybody else is looking for the answer. I had to change the theme name in the capabilities.xml file.

Micro SD + USB hub for game storage with controller

This listing blew my mind. I think many of us have all wished that we could have expandable storage with our controllers. Found this on Amazon. Micro sd card slot and USB c passthrough so you can plug a USB C controller in (using the Gamesir Galileo G8) while playing your ROMs off an sd card. I never thought I'd find something that actually worked this perfectly. The only downside is that it adds like an extra inch on one end if that bothers you, or if you have an XL phone it might be too big to fit depending on how wide your controller can go. Using a Pixel 9, it's a perfect fit. A bit expensive, but well worth it imo. (Price shown in Amazon screenshot is in Canadian dollars. US price would probably be 40-45?)

ES-DE Windows - Open emulator portable exe

Hello, hoping for help. I have all my roms and emulators set up on an external ssd, it's basically a little plug-n-play, and I figured putting ES-DE on it would be great, but if I open it, it can't open any of the emulators since it is looking for installed windows programs on my pc. How can I get it to open with the emulator exe on the ssd?

8gb model with gamehub

Anybody with the 8gb model can tell me what it can run on gamehub? Mostly just want it for retro emulators, but curious if it can run some oldish PC games like MW2 or Bioshock Infinite, first tomb raider reboot, 2010-2013 ish games. I know the 8gb model won't be as good for PC and gamehub stuff, but how far can it stretch?

Using cheats to make MGSPW harder?

There's a ton of cheats for Peace Walker to make it easier like extra health, unlocking everything etc. but is there any way to make it harder? Less health or take more damage? Love the game but it's just too easy. Been a fan since it first released back in the day and come back to it every few years for another playthrough, but I'm desperate for more of a challenge. Any way to edit the cheat files to give me less health instead of more or something similar??

New here, and I see there are a lot of posts like this so sorry if this is redundant. I am struggling with coming off Lexapro and see a lot of similar experiences: headaches, dizziness, anxiety/panic, "brain zaps" etc. I wasn't on it for very long, about 6 months at 10mg but I feel like I'm going insane. I know everyone reacts differently but I feel like this is feeling more intense than it should for short term low dose. I just had two panic attacks in one day, my head kills, and I have now been dizzy 24/7 for just over two weeks. I didn't stop cold turkey, Dr recommended halving the dose for two weeks, which felt fine. But then after stopping the half doses all the withdrawal symptoms started. Feels pretty miserable right now, but I don't want to go back on it. I switched no propranolol, but not daily, only as needed. Took it a few times over the last few weeks and it helped, but maybe introducing a new med while still feeling shitty coming off the previous could make it worse? Is it normal to have pretty intense withdrawal effects after 6mo 10mg daily?

I remember as a kid, back in like 2008 or so, there was an audio drama short story that iirc was written and narrated by R L Stine's son on the Goosebumps website. I can't find any information on this anymore. Does anybody else remember this?

When I was a Kid, we had every - I mean EVERY - goosebumps book in the original 62 and about half of series 2000, and watched every episode of the show a dozen times over. My mom would read them to me and my brother for bedtime stories when we were little kids in the early 2000s. Such a huge part of our household history. As we got older and stopped reading them, my mom decided to donate them to the school she worked at, which we all thought was a nice idea, pass them on to a new generation who could love them like we did. Well, the lady in charge of their library thought they were too scary and threw them all in the garbage, not even asking my mom (her coworker) if she wants them back. And so they were gone. Years later, lamenting the loss, my mom found a whole bunch for sale and scooped them up for the memories and face them all to me since I'm the book collector in the family. I have had them on my shelf for a while but hadn't reread any until now.

My wife often has a very hard time falling asleep, every once in a while we'll read a book together to help her fall asleep. Sometimes I'll read it, sometimes she'll read it. She is practicing her English since it is not her first language, but most of my books are long and difficult to read for someone who doesn't speak English natively and she asked if I had anything shorter and easy and fun. So I have started taking out those Goosebumps books and we'll read them until she falls asleep. Works like magic.

It feels nice to not only be able to read them again but with a new appreciation and bonding experience.

I also only just found this reddit community and love how passionate everyone here is.
