Got scolded and aggressive email? How I push it forward?

I received a request this morning about one task I was working on. Misread the whole email, implemented it, then my colleague noticed, I quickly apologized, fixed it and send it back to review. All on myself. No PROD environment damaged. No communication to the customer, not even checked since we are developing it internally.

After all done and checked, I got a reply from the project manager saying things like this: “I almost yelled at you”, “you should focus on quality on your delivery”, “otherwise you are out and I am not joking”.

All of this on the “reply all”, in an email chain with colleagues from other teams that had nothing to do with my work.

I didn’t reply. I just felt bad and call it a day. Turned off my computer and went out. I was just astonished by the disrespect and aggressiveness of such person. For me, this is completely out of place and put my work life and character on the line with people inside and outside the company.

Now I’d like to move forward with it and do the right thing. I know that HR can help, since my company sells the “good environment” policy but I am always skeptical.

I thought about replying something like “not the reaction and wording I was looking expecting from a person that should bring everyone together” but I also think that this will just be as ineffective as any talk with this person.

So, any ideas how to proceed?

Para tal, preciso fazer o preenchimento de algum formulário ou documento? Recolher algum imposto? Informar a receita?

Sou residente permanente no exterior e minha situação com a receita é de residente no exterior.

ist es möglich, einen JobRad-Vertrag zu stornieren, wenn das Fahrrad noch nicht abgeholt wurde? Ich habe letzte Woche eine Bestellung für ein neues Rad aufgegeben, bin mir aber bezüglich der Farbe noch unsicher. Deshalb würde ich die Bestellung gerne stornieren, bevor ich das Rad überhaupt entgegennehme.
Ist das möglich und wie gehe ich am besten vor? Muss ich mich dazu an den Fahrradladen oder an meinen Arbeitgeber wenden?

I just got a call from my dealer offering a 15%, around $1,500 on the SRAM Force in the Carnelian color version.

I was tending to the black one but the deal feels a no-brainer for me.

My issue is that I’ve only owned white bikes up to now and I’ve never get bored with the color with the years passing by.

How is that for you and how good the color looks in the wild? I only had the opportunity to check the bike at the bike store and so no outside looking at it.

I am on the verge of getting a brand new bike and I’d like to hear from you what are the main differences and how is the ride felling for both. Thanks!
