32 [M4F] Content creator on YouTube, looking for my other creative half.

About me:

- 5'10" because apparently height matters here.

- I'm literally working my ahh off to be a full time animator on YouTube.

- I love working on/making stuff with my hands.

- Single cat dad (practically an indoor cat myself).

- Hindi tayo magkakasundo sa inuman (I don't drink/smoke).

You can look at my reddit account if you wanna see the stuff I've been doing with my life lol.

About you:

- Preferably a creative person too.

- Will understand that my organic hand drawn content takes a lot of time and effort (para satin din to lmao).

- Maybe wala din bisyo haha.

Not much on the requirements here. I wanna know more about you personally.

Here's my attempt at making a template for an SMR HANDGUARD.

Disclosure, It's mostly designed to work on thicker paper (200 gsm), but the outer shell would definitely be compatible with cardboard. I just need to make instructions on how to assemble it.

Is it considered offensive to draw Lord Vishnu with a worried look?

For context, my next video is about Indian folklore. There's a specific scene that's shows Lord Vishnu with a concerned look because the Amrita was stolen.

Would this be considered offensive? I don't know much about Indian culture and everything I know is just based on self research.

I can't even tell anymore if this is a healthy sign of growth, or just the new counting system fluffing up the numbers.

What confuses me is that this long form video was posted on August 19th. The new counting system started on the 24th, but based on the graph it's been steadily climbing prior to the update.

I'm starting to fall in love with this bad boy (TVS XL 100)

I've always been big on practicality and realibility. This tiny beast just checks all the boxes on what I need on a two wheeled transportation. I'm planning on getting my first scooter and this is what I'm currently eyeing on. Is this gonna be a bad idea? (It can only reach 60 kmph).

Tactical vest made out of cardboard and some cloth from a tote bag.

The strap itself came from the tote bag, while the webbing at the front and back are just strips of cardboard.

I also added a thin padding of rubber on the inside, but I forgot what it's called lmao.

Made a cardboard tactical vest to go along with the cardboard HK416

This is made out of cardboard, wrapped in cloth from a tote bag. The straps came from the bag itself, while the webbing at the front and back are just strips of cardboard.

What's the best way to use my existing design (meant for paper) on cardboard?

For context, I use cardstock paper, but it's obvious downsides is it's still quite flimsy even if it's thicker. Has anyone tried something similar?

Sudden spike on views, but then dropped like a rock. And yet somehow consistently making 5-10 views every hour for 2 days??

Need your insights on this because it's so weird. Usually when a short skyrockets and then suddenly drops to NOTHING, that's the "testing phase" where it didn't find enough viewers that are interested.

This specific short did the same, and yet somehow it's consistently getting 5-10 views every hours for 2 days now? What's happening here?

This specific drawing took 4 hours to make, but it's only gonna be used for 2 seconds in the video lmao.

The joys of making hand drawn organic content is that some scenes demand a detailed background. Anybody else here make similar content like this?

Howdy y'all, need your insight on the thumbnail for my next video. (Video title: Creepy folklore from different countries)

My concern with the first pic is it's too cluttered? Second pic looks too empty? I'm thinking the third pic with the moon is a good compromise, but what do you think?

Literally day 432 of me trying to penetrate the Filipino audience. (Need opinions with Youtube thumbnail).

So basically, here's my question. Would this thumbnail get the average Filipino's attention? You have the classics like a guy wearing short, sando, tsinelas. Bahay kubo and kalibugan ng buwan. Also the childhood favorite, Manananggal.

Second question I have is, does the thumbnail look too cluttered? Do you think the second picture would work better because it's more simple?

u/BlepMaster500 — 4 months ago

Would this thumbnail catch your attention if it went by your feed?

For context, I made a video which talks about folklore from different countries. Is this thumbnail eye catchy enough? You can watch this video in my channel (qwentophy).

Bakit ang hirap maging content creator sa pinas if your niche isn't pranks or vlogs?

For context, I've been making hand drawn content in Youtube for more than a year now (I even do my own voice overs). I'm studying my analytics and I'm starting to wonder if it just doesn't appeal to the average Filipino? I know I'm kinda generalizing, pero mostly kasi and napapansin sa Youtube is either pranks or vlogs.

I've been trying really hard for more than a year now, pero ang hirap ma notice ng algorithm.

For context, I'm a struggling content creator in youtube. My niche falls under "listicle" and I make genuine hand drawn content (I even do my voice over).

I guess I'm asking for insight sa mga content creators here (youtube specifically). If you're already monetized, how did you do it? How long did it take until you hit that 1k sub count?

u/BlepMaster500 — 4 months ago

Fellow content creators, what's your niche?

Problem/Goal: The platform I'm at is YouTube, and the niche I'm working with is called "listicle", but I feel like it's not the common Filipino's kind of tea (pranks and vlogs are the usual go to). The goal is to appeal to the audience.

Context: My topics are kinda broad, ranging from cursed objects, people who survived the impossible, or folklore from various countries. It's voiced by me in English, but I'm starting to wonder if I should make a Tagalog version?

Previous attempts: I've been trying for more than a year lol. If you guys wanna send love my way, "qwentophy" is my YouTube channel.

The stray cat I've been feeding disappeared for 3 days and came back with this.

It's a small stitch on the side. I'm assuming she got spayed, but isn't that usually on the abdomen?

Additional info: she doesn't have any ear snips/punches. No tattoos. My town does like a free spaying and neutering for pet owners. I guess she wondered into one of those by accident and just got one done?
