After her sister was finally found, I mentioned the music box to her, and she said my cousin must have fixed it before asking if I had seen her recently.
I am blind and have been using this app for several years now. I absolutely love it and think it’s really fun and goofy, and the best part was it was completely accessible for the blind and visually impaired. BitLife was compatible with my screen reading software, I use voiceover on iOS, and so I could play the game completely on my own.
There are so few games that I have found that are voiceover compatible. I love playing games, but my library of accessible games is so small because there are so few of them, which makes each one even more important to me. BitLife was always one of my favorites, and I had spent money on several of the packs in the past.
However, since April 2026, the game has been completely unplayable. Voiceover is unable to read or recognize anything on the screen, and I can’t tap or click anything. There has been no change in the past several months, meanwhile, other updates and new packs are coming out that I would absolutely love to investigate and play with, but I can’t because the game is completely unplayable to me now.
Does anyone know when this is getting fixed? Has anyone found any kind of workaround for this? I have DogLife and CatLife and neither of them are affected by this. It’s just the main game that’s completely unplayable. A while back I made a couple other posts about this, but it’s been a month or two since I last checked, and I’m just really hoping this will get fixed soon.
I’m talking about the episode in season three, I think it’s episode 8, where she’s working on a dance routine and Joey brings his kids over and they make fun of her while she’s trying to dance. I really like how the song sounds and I wanted to save it to my playlist, but I’ve never heard it before and I don’t know what the title is.
I was just rereading the first book and it prompted a question I’ve had every single time I read the books or watch the show. What’s up with Dan Brown? The guy in the first scene who’s embarrassed about buying Dan Brown always confuses me, because I hadn’t heard of Dan Brown before watching the show.
Why is this guy so embarrassed about buying his books? Is there something wrong with his books? Is there something up with the author himself? It’s always baffled me because when I look him up, all I read is that he writes thrillers.
Has anyone experienced any difficulty with VoiceOver on Reddit itself? At the moment, I am unable to vote on posts, though I can still interact with comments on posts. Also, voiceover will not read a post, not even the title, unless I click on it first. The only thing it tells me about the post is which sub it’s from. Has anyone experienced this?
Sorry if this is the wrong flair, I wasn’t quite sure where to put this question but I needed a little clarification. I saw a post somewhere else talking about how there is a weekly usage limit now along with the switch to allowing us to select, chat mode or work mode and I wanted to know if that means chat mode has weekly limits now. I’m getting conflicting information.
Some people say that it does use up your weekly allowance, except for 5.5 instant, but if you switch to thinking medium or high, you start using up your weekly allowance. Other people say that chat mode isn’t affected and the weekly allowance is only for work mode and chat mode only has the allowance we’ve always had, where we may have a certain amount of messages to use in a few hours, and then we might be switched over to another model, but we will be switched back after a couple hours once those messages are replenished. Could someone please clarify which way it is for me? I don’t wanna use up any kind of weekly allowance, but the thinking models are usually my favorite so I wanna know how this works now.
I’m getting really lost with all of the new settings that you can select on ChatGPT, so I thought I would make a post and ask for some clarification. I only ever use ChatGPT for creative writing and sometimes to make reviews when I’m studying for tests. Because of this, I usually use the thinking models, but I don’t know if the thinking models are going to cost more usage than the instant models.
I looked in my settings and saw that, as of today, after I’ve been using ChatGPT for a couple hours off and on to do different stories and to work on something for a class for which I needed to study, that I still have 100% of my weekly usage. However, I don’t know how quickly it’s going to go down. As I said, I only ever use the chat features, but I don’t know if I have to set my old chats to be on the chat setting versus the work setting or if they are already on the work setting. I also don’t know how quickly the medium models will eat up usage because as I said, I sent a couple chats and so far it’s still at 100%.
Basically, I’m just really lost. I don’t know how well I’ve explained this, and I’m sorry if my post is confusing.
Edit: To clarify, I had heard today on another post that usage limits were changing and we had weekly limits now, which is why I’m asking all of this.
I am visually impaired, blind, and have been playing this game for several years now. I have purchased several of the expansions and different modes and truly truly enjoy this game. It is one of my favorites, especially because it has always been accessible to the blind and visually impaired.
About two months ago, I noticed when attempting to play the game that voiceover, the iOS screen reading software that the visually impaired can use to play the game cannot read or recognize anything on the screen and while voiceover is on, you cannot click on anything on the screen. Basically, it is completely unplayable.
I wanted to check in and see if anyone has found a workaround yet or if this has been fixed yet and all I need to do is update. I don’t see any new updates and I’ve tried several different commands, but nothing is allowing voiceover to work.
I had no idea that the memory system was going to be changed and now I’ve lost some information I had saved. I use ChatGPT primarily for creative writing. I never ever post or publish anything it gives me, just enjoy reading the things that it gives me and enjoy bouncing ideas off of it so that I don’t have to bother my friends in the middle of the night with a random idea.
Anyway, I was discussing a character that I had described to it in detail while telling it about a story that I was working on with this character. I had previously instructed it to save information about this character so that I could revisit it, but today, when I asked about the character, it got several details about her wrong. I went in to look at the memories to see what was up, and all of my saved memories are gone. The only thing that is saved are random observations that it has made in the past couple weeks. It lost context that I put in for stories that are over a year old. Plus, if I try to enter the memories that it lost into the list of memories, I have no idea if it will keep it or if it will be deleted.
Does anyone know why they took away the saved memories feature? It was so incredibly helpful. If I enter a memory in to the list, will it actually be saved? I read in settings that the memories are now constantly changing, depending on what it learns about me, so is it even reliable?
This is probably a hot take, but I honestly thought that Liv and Artie could’ve been cute in Liv and Maddie. I love Holden and I love Liv with Holden, but I thought this could’ve been a cute alternative. Maybe not endgame, but it could’ve been something cute to explore for a few episodes in my opinion.
What made me think this was watching the episode where Liv is playing matchmaker and tries to help Willow go to a dance with Joey. I’m re-watching the show for the first time in a while. I noticed parallels between Willow and Artie and how their crushes work and it just got me thinking because Willow got a chance to be with Joey. It could’ve been interesting to see Artie with Liv.

Up until now, all three games have been completely accessible with voiceover. I have been able to play all three games for years with no issues. However, recently every single time I try to open BitLife, voiceover doesn’t work. I can’t click on anything or swipe or read anything. However, today I noticed that both DogLife and CatLife are still completely accessible. Does anyone know what update caused VoiceOver to stop working on the main game and if it’s going to be fixed? Is there any way I can fix it myself? Are the developers aware of this? Is there any reliable way I can bring this to their attention?
