Like I’m sorry, but I genuinely cannot fathom how this made any sense. Of two bad options, instead of picking the objectively slighter better one, so many chose to just not participate.

Why?

Just yesterday I watched all of season 1; and I’m now working my way through season 2. Just about Galway’s through episode 5, and I’m just in awe of this show’s writing. I mean yeah, it’s generally pretty great; but some moments really stand out.

Like when Danny gets called into Teddy‘s office, after what Danny did in the restaurant. When Danny says to Teddy he’s gonna punch him in the face if he keeps talking shit about Ji; and Teddy just says, “fair enough.” Then the scene ends.

It’s small, it’s relatively quick; but that shit is fucking brilliant. Not just because it feels like a genuinely real interaction, but because almost every other show would either have Teddy continue to bash Ji, Danny would hit him, and get thrown out and be in an even worse spot then before. Or have had Teddy be like “fine, fine; but you gotta be careful, keep your cool more” or something like that.

Instead, it’s just a simple little scene, that does mean a little for Danny’s character; but is ultimately pretty inconsequential. Doesn’t have much to do with the overall plot, doesn’t push the story anywhere. And doesn’t rely on cliched, overdone storytelling. It just feels like a real moment, and does a lot to show how the series portrays its world.

Just…truly incredible stuff.

Yes, I’m realty sad that Brice is gone. Yes, it was brutal and traumatizing…but a good death should be traumatizing. A good death should mean that stakes are established, and that you feel bad for the loss of a great character.

Hell, Brice was arguably the show’s number 2 character. The deuteragonsit of the show. He was popular, he was well liked, and those make him a great candidate for getting killed off.

And the circumstances are also really key here. That was a no win situation; something had to give. It would’ve been far worse writing if both he and Sharon had survived. The only way to make that work would’ve been an ass pull, a Deus ex Machina that would’ve felt forced and out of place.

Again, I’m really bummed it happened, but I genuinely think it was well executed. Really helps set the tone for the season.

Pretty much the title. Like, Kavenagh and Richards are fucking killing their roles, and they play pretty great characters.

Yet, this is a show detailing the Second Age. Namely the Fall of Numeneor, and the fight against Sauron. And at this point, it’s getting harder to see Nori and Poppy’s story as not taking up time that could be used for Numenor’s story, or the Elves fighting Sauron.

Honestly I’d be saying the same thing an about Gandalf, except there’s at least something interesting going on over in the East with Ciarán Hinds being confirmed as Pallando.

If we were still to get Nori and Poppy, then like, a scene per episode, or every other episode; to tell their story without taking up too much space would be nice.

Basically the title; I hit play and the game seems to run for a few seconds, and then stops running. No window pops up, just saying running, then gives the option to stop the game, then goes back to the play option.

And I’ve had Far Cry 4 and 5 for much longer, until recently I never had any issues with them. I’ve tried restarting, deleting and reinstalling, I even tried to delete the game from my account and then retrieve it. But nothing.

Any advice that anyone has would be appreciated.

Just had a post get approved (took a bit due to a general automod net), but now when I keep trying to just look at each comment, the post comes in but the comments won’t. Same with other regular replies to comments on other posts.

Tried disconnecting from WiFi, on/offing phone, refreshing app, but nothing.
