The polar bear is currently the largest living land predator on Earth, with standard adult males typically weighing between 880 to 1,320 pounds, with exceptionally rare specimens historically reaching up to or exceeding 2,000 pounds.

Given our current scientific understanding and studies of Utahraptor specimens, could an adult male Utahraptor reliably kill one in combat in a barren subarctic meadow?
