KOSPI getting destroyed again. Wednesday could be ugly for $MU
The Korean exchange had to be halted tonight due to stocks selling off. It’s down 6.3% so far. Doesn’t bode well for the memory stocks:

Lost our 14 year old morkie in April and never thought we’d find a dog to fill that void. This puppy has changed our lives. What a smart, spunky little angel she is. Can’t even imagine life without her now.
We like her longer hair but there were too many matted areas of fur on her undercoat so the groomer shaved her down. We have been combing her multiple times a day with a metal grooming comb but some of the tangles are so embedded and severe that the groomer recommended going super short.
We’re bringing our (very small) dog with us for a 4 day Labor Day weekend vacation in Oak Bluffs. Looking for recommendations on places to eat/drink that are dog-friendly?
In a year when airlines faced multiple jet fuel crises, Delta Airlines is far outperforming Nvidia. For those who bought NVDA in 2022 at $15/share, congrats. For anyone who has bought or DCAed in the past 12-18 months, this performance is just anemic.
I was looking forward to the SK Hynix ($SKHY) IPO this week but it appears Fidelity didn’t participate as they are not offering shares in their IPO offerings. Did anyone get a heads up about this IPO?
This is a major bug that I am shocked the Fidelity mobile app QA Team didn’t discover. When you click on a Basket in the mobile app (on iOS), it takes you to the basket details screen but there’s NO WAY to navigate back to other parts of the mobile app. The only way back is to close the app and start over. Major, major fail. This is junior high level QA. I thought it might be a dark mode thing (hiding a back button) but as you see in the screenshots, it’s the same for light mode.
Up 5% in the past 6 months, despite the semi industry stampeding. Up less than 1% after hours, despite the memory market saying how crazy the demand for these AI / Data Center technologies are.
Perhaps it’s just because of the heft of NVDA’s $4.5T+ market cap? Seems to be so because you have other companies in the same part of the industry who have far worse financial metrics … and they are up 50-150% in that same time period. If you are lucky enough to have gotten in early with NVDA and can just sit back on your huge gains, good for you, but if you tried to make money with this stock in the past two years, it’s been meh at best. I am glad that I noticed this $150-200 channel a long time ago and moved most of my NVDA money into plain old SMH, which has grown immensely thanks to a lot of other semi companies.
Got little Cleo 3 weeks ago Sunday. Today she is officially 3 months old. She’s a morkiepoo, with a tiny bit of poodle mixed in. Super smart and quite spunky!
So our 12 week old morkie had been doing great with pee pads and is still great with them for pooping. However, over the past 3-4 days, she has started peeing in her doggy bed and lounging around on the pee pads. Any suggestions for how to resolve this? Note that we are training her for pee pad only, not outdoors.
The Heikin-Ashi chart really shows it clearly. Ugly sea of red. The only bright spots are that the MACD looks like it’s trying to cross over to bullish and the P/E is the lowest it’s been in a very long time.
I did a buy/write on SNDK, buying 100 shares at $1678 and sold a Dec 2028 call at the highest strike price available, $2480. The premium was $86,835. If it goes to my strike price, I will have to sell for $248,000. So my profit would be $167,035 ($80,200 + $86,835) or 99.54%. This equates to a 31% CAGR. In this scenario, would you ever roll the contract, if SNDK continues to skyrocket in the next two years? Or would you just be content to double your money in 2.5 years?
Thrilled to welcome little “Cleopatra” into our home yesterday. 10 weeks old.
We’re getting one of these adorable little pups June 1st. She will be 10 weeks old. Lucky to find a good breeder here in Massachusetts.
The last time we saw NVDA go UP after earnings was two full years ago. Every other report, the stock has tanked afterward. Be prepared.
Is there a way to have the option summary view show the “mid” price, not just bid and ask? The way Fidelity shows paired legs of a spread doesn’t accurately reflect the price of the positions. For instance in the attached picture, it shows that both legs of this option are losing money. Why? Because Fidelity is showing the worst price for both sides of the trade, not the midpoint and they are using those worst prices to calculate the total gain/loss. I tried to find a way to have it use the mid price between bid/ask but it doesn’t show it. Right now, the only way I’ve found to determine the actual cost of closing the trade is to start to close it, then get to the point of previewing the trade where it shows the real (mid) prices and accurate cost… and then back out of it. This seems convoluted, at best. There must be a better way to view this within the view.
