Noble palm fronds

Afternoon sunlight shines through the slit between two fronds still attached at the top.
Edit: Hello Everyone, this greeted me when I visit my palm. I think the space between fronds (that are opening) is normal. The sunlight between them was what stood out for me. Thanks for comments.
