Who Raised the People Using Home Depot Bathrooms?

it feels like Home Depot is shopped exclusively by wild animals and toddlers if you look at the state of the bathroom at in my area.

Are the customers that bad or is there some other reason why they stand out?

Why won’t RBC match what other people here are getting?

I see lots of reports that people are getting 3.7 or 3.8 numbers, but when I spoke to someone at the branch, I was only offered 4.17 which sounds fairly high!

How are people managing to get so much cheaper three and five year fixed?

Does anyone know how the ultimate account fee rebate works for credit cards?

I got different answers from the branch vs the phone line. I got charged a card fee last month but it seems opening an ultimate account RETROACTIVELY waives the fee!

The branch is telling me you’d have to call the credit card dept but they say to speak to the banking dept.

I added a photo of the terms

Why does it feel like vehicular manslaughter is a lesser charge than distracted driving?

I'll start this by saying I never touch my phone while driving, and do not want to have my insurance cancelled so I can see a text 30 mins later.

At the same time, I think when you put incredibly harsh punishments you're going to push people to more risky behavior (ex, checking their phones on the 401 since it's harder to spot than when they're at a red light)

There was a case where a man dropped his bottle, and killed a woman, he got a lesser charge than a women who was only charged with picking up a phone when it fell on the floor (no sign of it actually being used)

Has anyone brought a starlink mini on the Canadian?

I have family in the north, as well as a job that requires me to be on call. I'm wondering has anyone tried to bring a starlink mini on board the train?

I tried using Rogers Satellite and Apples "space texting" in the dome car but it seems the signal can't get through the windows. I'm hoping a mini dish would actually be able to connect so I'm able to take the train without taking multiple days off work.

Bell native vs Rogers-EXT speeds in northern Ontario

I noticed EXT has been heavily throttled for several months, and it doesn’t work outside highway 11 it seems now.

I decided to try Bell and show the speed difference between the two!

Why do elevators in Ontario never say the manufacturer?

I get on mods you might have an independent do the job and rip off the old branding, bit why is it even in new buildings the elevators/escalators never say the brand name?

Is working as a conductor for CN that bad?

currently in IT but am not able to WFH and the pay isn’t amazing. I can travel and take days off when needed but having to worry about downtime or hackers 24/7 (after going through an attack) is starting to wear down on me.

CN is hiring in my GFs town and I’m thinking of moving to work as a conductor.

I feel like it’ll be a big adjustment moving out of a city and being on the spareboard for who knows how long?

I’m aware the hours are crap and the company hates you, but besides that how bad is the job? it’s a road terminal so it seems like most days are just 8-10 hours in a char at ungodly hours?

if you get laid off how long is it before you’re called back?

Will renewing lender beat a competing offer?

Hi, I'm working with a great broker and got 4 percent, I'm wondering will Radius beat the competing offer? If they'll just match I'd obviously rather go with a broker.
