In Scooby-Doo 2, is it true that all the costumes were supposed to be brought to life in the early drafts?
Because frankly, I’m not sure I could see it working pacing-wise, unless they were mostly reduced to crowd shots or given a much longer runtime to show them all off.
To a lesser extent, I’m wondering if they at least wanted to add the Space Kook, but ultimately figured he would be way too scary for the movie.
Lastly, at least 3 of them are completely exclusive to the movie (Mortician, Mermaid, Warrior Queen) so that probably would’ve required some hand waving of sorts.
Probably the only monster I had a legit nightmare over.
The Wolfman was my personal favorite, and Dracula was a good villain, too. But yikes…I do not ever want to be caught by this guy

reddit.comInjustice: Deliverance (fan concept) - Batman’s Contingencies for DLC characters
Dr. Sivana: Utilize resources like heavy dampening foam to disable his highly advanced mechanizations, including his disruptor rays and age-reversing rays. Additionally, the doctor has acquired the powers of Shazam in the past. The quickest way to de-power a magic wielder like him is to trick him into saying the word. By manipulating the battlefield or using illusions, though reverting him to his normal form will inevitably require more creativity at some point or another.
Inque: A dangerous villain that I apparently won’t even fight yet for a while, possibly even more deadly than Clayface. Because she is fluid, she is highly vulnerable to large volumes of water, which dilute and wash her away, as well as specific chemical solvents. Additionally, specialized cages or containment fields from the Arkham Institute could disrupt her DNA, forcing her in a painful, solid, or destabilized state. Possible extra insight would be helpful, especially from my future self and the new Batman he’s mentoring.
Zauriel: He’s a little tricky, for obvious reasons. A good, core strategy against Zauriel would be to play into his strong devotions to humanity and his human-related charges, and find a way to use it against him. Not to mention, Zauriel’s power comes directly from the Eagle Host of (his) Heaven. I would rely on celestial tech or a sort of "binding" magic to pin Zauriel to Earth and force his soul into Hell.
White Dragon (August Smith): His suit relies heavily on internal tech matrices for flight and energy blasts. A high-intensity EMP or a localized WayneTech cyber-hack would brick the armor's weapon systems instantly. Also, exploiting his arrogance. Auggie’s main emotional weakness is his intense ego, and unapologetic racism. It probably won’t be too hard to tap into August’s blind spot and lure him into effective distractions and traps.
Pterodactyl Ghost: Formerly just a man in a costume, Dr. Johnathan Jacobo was eventually able to make his alter ego come alive in order to facilitate his revenge plot against a certain team of meddling kids…and their talking dog. To counter this beast, first off it’s important to know that standard, flying reptiles are sensitive to high-frequency disruptions. Second, the Pterodactyl Ghost (if it even can be considered ghostly) does openly react to drowning, as shown when it was stuck and suffocating in the belly of the Tar Monster. Third, its creator. The creature was animated by a control panel and is directly commanded by its “other” half, who previously donned the different disguise of the Evil Masked Figure. They’re smarter than they seem, but I doubt they’re smarter than me. I’ll use my detective skills to track down the control panel and hack it and related devices, in order to reverse the animation process and turn the creature back into a lifeless, sartorial object. And if possible, get ahold of Randomonium for further study, even if completely foreign to my world.
