I've been using SiriAI since DB1, it was decent, not perfect but steadily improving.

I installed the RC and have been doing some testing, and I am quite shocked that SiriAI has been *worse* for me across the board.

I posted about Fitness/Health in another thread, ok, that's weird but it's by design.

However I just asked Siri to read me the last message in one of my iMessage groups, it first told me that it was an image, then told me that it can't show it to me. When I opened the chat it went back to a pic sent *months* ago. With that on screen, I asked it why it's referring to this, and it told me it has no record of telling me that image is the last reply...

A complete mess, and it's literally all the stuff that worked flawlessly before.

Any thoughts - are the servers maybe getting hammered by the influx of people from the RC (is the waiting list still a thing)?

If my case is not an isolated one, it does not bode well for next week.

Title. Seems bizarre given the focus on personal data leverage on device?

I play at 1440p which is perfect for my 9070 XT/5500X3D combo.

My work monitor is a 27" 5k display (only 60Hz) and I am tempted to see how games look/run at that res, and also 1440p on this screen given the integer scaling.

However, I would have to do some labour to actually physically get the gaming PC and work monitor together, which is not very straigtforward.

I am hoping to hear some feedback from people using 5k to game, in terms of performance, improvement compared to 1440p/4k, and any other impressions.

I ordered something last night because the listing indicated that item (CPU) is in stock and will be delivered by 14:00 today. Paid last night.

The item still has to ship, when I contacted the seller he tells me he's waiting for Shopee to collect and they are unreliable. Seller suggests that he arranges lalamove directly and not wait for Shopee.

At the same time last night I ordered another item (thermal paste) from another store, same 14:00 delivery and it was delivered before 12:00, by Shopee driver.

My bullshit detectors are going off at this lalamove delivery suggestion. Is it a potential scam?

Yes, I know it's not an apples to apples comparison, but hoping to get some input from owners of either or people who also may have cross-shopped the two (as unlikely as it sounds).

I currently own an X70, and while there are many things that could be better, given the purchase price (I bought a 1yr old used model) I can't really complain (other than it's appetite for fuel which is insane). I am looking to add an EV to the family, and while I can stretch to the 200k mark, I am wondering if it is really necessary. I have not driven either yet (I am in the very early stages of shopping), but have driven in an eMAS7 and it was a very pleasant place to be in.

I just checked the comparison on Zigwheels, is it even possible that eMAS7 doesn't have CarPlay or is this outdated? The infotainment system in the X70 is one of the major downsides, and I am hoping that this would have been addressed - I remember thinking that it looks a lot more mature in the eMAS7 on my short drive in one.

In any case, would appreciate any comments on either of the two cars, as well as general comments on EV ownership in Malaysia. I am in a condo so charging would be via one of the providers, also interested in the comments on the costs vs buying fuel (especially since I am a foreigner so don't have the benefit of BUDI95).

I've tried all the fixes, cleaning the contacts on the airpod, the contacts in the case (earbud, isoprop, even gentle scraping with a straightened paperclip). I still sometimes find the left airpod halfway charged, which is super annoying on flights and long workouts. Case is squeaky clean and free of any debris.

The Airpods are 3yrs old, and the batteries (both pods and case) are very good and give me around 6hr per charge. Feels wasteful to replace them but this is really frustrating.

Anything else I can try to get a permanent fix?

I was making bacon, and since I wanted to make something else later in the day and didn't want to clean the basket, I used a liner for the first time.

I was surprised with how much longer it made the whole cooking process, and how different the results were - I had to flip the bacon halfway, and it took me 20min to cook it (usually it is 12-14 depending on the amount). The bacon overall wasn't as crispy and uniformly cooked as usual.

Do you think the tradeoff is worth it?

I absolutely love ramen, and since I live in SEA I am spoiled for choice in terms of great, authentic options.

Problem is, whenever I have a bowl, I spend the next part of the day incredibly uncomfortable, my gut really struggling to digest, I presume because of the very high fat content of the broth. I don't get this, as my diet is not low in fat at all, and I am not sensitive to any of the typical ramen ingredients in isolation whatsoever.

Anyone else with this kind of experience? What is the solution? Not finish the broth?
