I am 2 weeks into the process and have felt confused lost and then optimistic. Not sure any tips to help. I was with someone for 5 years and they needed a break and after finding out they were being unloyal they broke up with me.

How do I move on I’ve experienced shock then ignorance and delusion, now I’m at the point of acceptance and hurt and sorrow. Does it get better or how does it go for most. (I was broken up with after told they needed a break and only broken up when I found infidelity during the break) Also to add more info I was set this was my partner for life and planning of proposing the following year.
