What would their favorite horror video game be? (#8 - Mei)

It can be anything. RPG Maker games, visual novels, platformers...as long as it's horror and as long as it fits the character. (I would also like it if you gave an explanation since there is a chance I do not know the game you submit, therefore I would not know if it would fit the character.)

The submission with the most votes wins. In the event that there is a tie, I will select the one I think fits the most. Also, a game that has already won cannot be picked again.

Previous Winners:

Hakari - Lust for Darkness (2019)

Karane - Resident Evil 5 (2009)

Shizuka - Aria's Story (2018)

Nano - Five Nights at Freddy's: Ultimate Custom Night (2018)

Kusuri - Zoochosis (2024)

Hahari - The Baby in Yellow (2020)

Kurumi - Happy's Humble Burger Farm (2021)

Give me a villain from a non-FNAF horror game and I will turn them into an animatronic with a unique mechanic (Image unrelated)

Only rule is that it has to be from a horror game that is not FNAF or a FNAF fangame. Other than that, go wild.

Rentarou's girlfriends as Paper Mario partners (#37 - Cherbana)

Whew, it sure has been a while. Now, some things to know:

Firstly, as is the character she's based on, Cherbana's color palette is subject to change.

But more importantly, this was, without a doubt, the most difficult partnerojo to make. The design is very simple, and the moveset came to me fairly easily...no, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the process of deciding the species.

As you all know, Rana's gimmick is that she doesn't want anyone to see her as a "loose girl" because she's been shamed for her unusually developed body. As you might also know, when making these partnerojos, I tend to water down some of their gimmicks to make it seem like something that would realistically be in a Paper Mario game. So obviously, I can't say "Cherbana was shamed by everyone because of her body," but when that's an important aspect of the original character, it becomes that much harder to make a partnerojo that is faithful to that character.

I cycled through countless species, trying to figure out which one could maybe, just maybe, be at least a decent base to build off of. In the end, I went with...the Cherbils from Super Paper Mario. Was this the best choice I could've gone with? Maybe not. If a future girlfriend has a farting gimmick, I might be in trouble. But this is what I landed on, and I'm not too disappointed by the result.

Well, time to wait for girlfriend #38 to be revealed in a few months! In the meantime, I'll try to dispense more content for this series every so often. But also, I have another 100 Girlfriends-related project brewing in the depths, and I hope to surface it soon. Until then...well, we'll see.

Disturbing/Horror Video Game Iceberg V2

This is actually an updated version of an iceberg I made a little bit ago. I posted it on r/creepygaming (which, in hindsight, was not the right place to put it,) and I've taken criticism and tried to improve it. But more importantly, I added a lot, and I mean a LOT of new entries. I'm not counting, but I wouldn't be surprised if I doubled the number of entries from my previous one (for reference, my original iceberg had a little over 70 entries.)

First and foremost, I should clarify: this iceberg is from least to most obscure, not least to most disturbing. Though I will say, the two tend to be somehow correlated, because a lot of the more disturbing entries are closer to the bottom, to the point where that bottom layer is almost exclusively housed by very explicit and depraved games. Still, I did my best to rank these based on how well I thought people knew about them.

Secondly, I would like to apologize for the egregious number of visual novels and RPG Maker games there are toward the bottom. I did try to go for diversity, but it seems as though those two types of games are very popular genres for obscure horror games.

Lastly, I am open to any constructive criticism, but I am taking a bit more of a stand here. There were plenty of people who gave me helpful advice for my previous chart, and I'm not trying to undermine their contributions, but there were also people who just commented "worst iceberg ever" without telling me what it was about the iceberg that made them think that. If you are going to criticize me, do so in a way that is polite and lets me know what it is I can improve.

Oh, and if you don't know what an entry is, feel free to ask me.

Without further ado, enjoy!

Is there a subreddit I can post my iceberg chart to? (That isn't r/icebergcharts)

So I made an iceberg chart about disturbing/horror video games. Well, it's actually an improved version of a previous iceberg chart I posted a while back. I want to know: what is the most optimal sub I can post my sub to?

You may be wondering "why not r/IcebergCharts?" Well, that sub has a rule against "overused topics," and from what I've seen, the topic of my iceberg is considered overused, so I avoided posting the original chart there. I posted the first chart to r/creepygaming, but apparently that sub revolves around isolated creepy incidents in video games and not just creepy video games in general. (To be clear, I'm not trying to speak out against either of these subs. I'm just letting you know the circumstances that led me here.)

Do you guys know any other subreddit what would accept my disturbing/horror video game iceberg?
