Homelander runs the fodder gauntlet, how far does he get

I was originally gonna say for each round he has to face 5 of each opponent...but to give him a slight chance let's cut that down to 2

R1: Magikarp

R2: Goomba

R3: Met

R4: Hollow (Broken Straight Sword variant)

R5: B1 Battle Droid

R6: Stormtrooper

R7: Putty

Factions from other sci-fi settings you'd think would fit well in 40k?

Just gonna start off with the Krogan. I mean. It's hella obvious.

Plus, god forbid they find out about the Orks and become best friends with one another

Scaling strictly off gameplay (glitches and exploits and balancing included), what characters would scale absurdly high?

My BG3 Tavern Brawler Monk probably scales higher than your goat because he's stunlocked and essentially solo'ed a Netherbrain, The avatar of a god of necromancy, and a fucking Cambion.

"Yeah bu-"

Stunning Strike+Flurry of blows+Flurry of blows+unarmed strike+unarmed strike

Your GOAT is either pulverized or literally cannot move

So if we take anything you can do in a game, what character would have the highest scaling?

Who's the strongest character that Vegeta can defeat after hitting the "i'm about to get demolished" Thumb pose

Whenever dude hits this pose, you know damn well he's about to lose the fucking fight. When he hits this pose he receieves a MASSIVE debuff where all his stats except ego and price go down

R1: Vegeta has received a powerup and has been otherwise mopping the floor with your character, during downtime he starts bragging about his new power and then hits this pose.

R2: After he hits the pose, he starts talking about how fighting the character you picked is boring. Can your character convince Vegeta to let them transform/activate their buffs?

Wolf's Dragoons when i show up with clan mechs...in 3015

Like seriously, imagine you have to downgrade your mechs to blend in. And here comes this random lance just popping up with a Mad Cat/Vulture/Thor/Summoner to dumpster some random capellans fielding Vindicators and fucking Urbanmechs.

No more scaling characters...What character would make the best or worst powerscaler

My bet is Dr. Doom. It has got to be Doom. His ego means he will believe in his most batshit ass agenda and go with it no matter how absurd, he'll make the most diabolical spite MUs just because you pissed him off. And he would definitely for sure be a pixel scaler. Total "debate me on discord" type of guy.

Give me your takes on how a character would be as a powerscaler.

Superman has to run a gauntlet...but he has to convince each character to either become a better person or convince them to stop being evil. Where does he stop?

Round 1: Vader

Round 2: Homelander

Round 3: Emperor of Mankind

Round 4: Frieza

Round 5: Eric Cartman

u/Buttered_Carnage — 6 days ago

Alright, we know Superman has super OP comics scaling...instead of fighting he has to run a gauntlet where he has to convince his opponents to become better people or stop being evil. How far does he get?

R1: Homelander

R2: Darth Vader

R3: The Emperor of Man

R4: Frieza

R5: Eric Cartman

He is given a full rundown on each character and what they did and what they're like, how far does he get and who would be irredeemable?

Kevin (Home Alone) vs Batman

So for some reason, Batman decides that he REALLY has it out for this one kid and decides that enough is enough. He wants this kid gone. Also probably has been done before. But its something that i find immensely fucking funny.

Fight ends when one party is incapacitated

Round 1: Kevin is only given a few hours of prep and can only use items available to him that you can find in your average upper-middle class suburban home. Fight takes place in the house from Home Alone 1

Round 2: Kevin is given a budget of 50 million dollars and has taken over Wayne Manor and is given a week of prep time to stop Batman from retaking Wayne Manor

Marines have access to their full equipment (Assault Rifles, Light Machine Guns, Anti Tank weaponry and explosives) and Space Marine is wearing MK VII Armor and is armed with a Bolter

Courier 6 from Fallout New Vegas is transported to Night City from Cyberpunk 2077. How does he fare?

Round 1: The Courier is just transported to a random spot in Night City filled with scavs. He is given ample equipment (Assault Carbine/Anti-Material Rifle/Hunting Revolver and multiple grenades) and let's assume he's a max level build. How far does he get

Round 2: The Courier is given the lay of the land and how it works, and when he is transported, he is somewhere safe and was given enough money to buy good cybernetics.

Round 3: The Courier replaces V for the main story

Screw scaling characters, which character do you think would be the worst scaler

For me it'd have to be Caesar from New Vegas, he would definitely argue some shit like star level homelander and pull out the stupidest calcs known to man. And if you slander his goat he would definitely have you killed.

Now, who else would be a terrible scaler?

I HATE ELENA AND THE PEOPLE WHO SAY HER DESIGN IS GOOD REPRESENTATION (also added what i think is an actually GOOD design that i love and is actually good representation)

I'm gonna preface by saying i'm black, and how black characters are represented in media can honestly make or break it for me. And my standards aren't even high, you just have to put in some effort in my opinion

But holy fuck Elena is such a dogshit and embarassing design even with her redesign in 6, she's supposed to be fronm Ethiopia but...she has white straight hair and blue eyes??? Like i know yeah, it's Street Fighter, expecting realistic designs is kind of like wanting burger king to start selling steaks and caviar. But man, what really pisses me off is when people (who usually aren't even black) say it's a good design and good representation when like...no black person is walking around like that (and please don't do the whole WELL AKSHUALLY SOME BLACK PEOPLE DO HAVE BLUE EYES like it's some big ass gotcha, that shit is rare as fuck) and it just feels fetishistic as a whole, why was she essentially wearing underwear and it's giving off some fetishistic ass colonizer vibes.

Compared to Kimberly Jackson in Street Fighter 6, the most recent entry and capcom actually reached out to their black employees and the like for what they should do with her design, and honestly? One of my favorite character designs in recent memory and i love her personality, and who actually has the kind of hair i'd expect someone with melanin in them to actually have? And yeah while here is some parts of her design meant to arouse, it doesn't feel as exploitative as Elena does.

Kimberly Jackson (Street Fighter 6)

Lemme just preface this by saying as a black man, i do like good representation, mainly when it comes to visual elements on characters. And Kimberly is legitimately one of my favorite designs in recent years compared to some characters in this series (I've always hated Elena's design and Balrog is one step away from a racist caricature, i know i'll get some hate for that opinion but idc).

In case you haven't played the game or don't know about her, but in the lore she is a student of another character named Guy (who's pretty much a ninja) and uses the same fighting style as him, and adds some cool elements like a walkman and using spray cans as smoke bombs. Plus she is EXTREMELY fucking fun to play.

Capcom actually worked with PoC in order to get their design right and i have to say IT WORKED! I love how all her hairstyles are something that actual black women would have. And while there are some gooner aspects to her character (this is Street Fighter, that's gonna be there) i don't really feel as if they are all that egregious compared to some characters and she has a build that fits her character and fighting style.

And honestly? She's really adorable, i wanna give her head pats.
