Changes for the worse for players are caused by the players themselves, not by the companies

Players need to finally realise that the decisions made by Sony, EA and so on are driven by the players themselves. EA recently raised the price of the new FC significantly to $150, and on top of that, it’s a ‘pay-to-win’ game. The result? It was among the top pre-orders in Sony shop. Sony’s decisions haven’t affected game sales; people are still buying consoles. I’d bet that the PS6 will be pre-ordered and sell out in a flash. GTA VI isn’t having any sales issues either. If I ran a company and had the option of withdrawing physical discs and selling games digitally only, thereby removing the possibility of resale, it wouldn’t affect sales. On the contrary, I’d be squeezing players dry myself. Unless players learn to vote with their wallets, nothing will change, no matter how loudly you whinge online. Go on, keep buying the same games year after year, keep buying loot boxes, keep paying over the odds for games, and keep pre-ordering well-known titles just because they’re well-known. I’m sure something will change.

russia is facing fuel shor tages

I’m sure many of you are already aware of the widespread fuel shortages at petrol stations in R russia. Four years ago, this would have been completely unthinkable.

In response, some orc set up a website, https://benzinradar.com/, where you can report fuel availability and queue lengths in this "vast" country.

For anyone interested, anyone can submit a report, so if you feel the need, please do :)

How easy it is to lose ground because of poor decisions

< Be Anthropic

< Release the first sonnet

< The best coding model, intelligent

< Sonnet 3.7, 4 are smashing, Opus is king

< on a roll right from the start, other AIs are much worse

< restrict usage limits for users

< lobotomy models because why not, since there isn’t much of a choice

< ChatGPT is starting to be a great choice at a lower price with higher limits, it’s stable

< release Fable 5, reportedly the best model that crushes all others

< block all possible words and usages, rendering Fable useless

< congratulations, from being the only choice, thanks to clever and wise decisions that shot themselves in the foot, a lot of users have moved to Codex

Any idea to run Kingdom Come II on Crossover? (Shader Resources error)

I'm on Sequoia. At first, I had trouble launching the game, but adding a line to user.cfg fixed it.

sys_intromoviesduringinit = 0sys_intromoviesduringinit = 0

After the first cutscene, the game crashes with the message "We have run out of Shader Resources, num=32768". Is there any way to bypass this, because apparently the game works great with the crossover according to the info on crossover website, but it doesn't work at all :/

I've already tried every possible setting in the crossover even changing the key in regedit. I've got installed on bottle GPT 3

Foreign technology for the Russians – drones

The action starts at 0:45. A one-in-a-million chance that the detonator failed to go off. What does the Russian soldier do? He hits the drone with a stick until it explodes. Fair play
