Dog kennel reccs?

I don't really like boarding our dog but we've got to in August. I'd like to know if anyone has recommendations for a kennel?

We used one before in a pinch, and while the owners and staff were lovely, the kennel itself was pretty basic and he ripped up his bed, which suggests he wasn't getting enough attention/stimulation.

Does anyone have any recommendations for some in Leeds or the wider area in North/West Yorkshire?

Looking for photographer recommendations

My fiance and I are visiting Bangkok in August and would like to work with a photographer for a half-day "photoshoot" to get some nice engagement photos. We got engaged in January in Iceland, but this is our first trip since then. We'll be staying in the Bang Rak area, so ideally, a photographer would know some good spots for photos around there. Would appreciate any recommendations.

How does measuring altitude work when airports are at different elevations/

E.g., LAX is at 150-ish feet above sea level, Denver is 5,400 feet.

Climbing 4000 feet from LAX will mean you're at around 4,000 feet above sea level, but 9,400 feet above sea level from Denver - whereas tracking both flights on FR24 will show 4,000 feet.

So, how does that work in terms of cruise altitude?

Can I get Q Points and Avios for two bookings?

I've already booked an itinerary for myself under one booking ref.

My partner will now be joining me on this trip, so I'm also going to book their ticket on my account but it'll be under a different ref.

  • Is there any way to link or combine these bookings so we can check-in and be seated together?
  • Will I get the Q points for both bookings, or just the Avios for both (or neither?)

Marrakech for one week

Potentially visiting Marrakech in August (or Greece, not 100% yet)

I've been to Marrakech before; my OH hasn't, and also hasn't done that many lux hotels in general. We're also a gay couple, and he's a bit nervous about Morocco.

Can you help me decide on some hotels, please?

I've done MO Marrakech and Amanjena before. I absolutely loved both.

I also really want to try the Oberoi and Four Seasons.

I'm currently leaning toward the MO (can't beat the pool and outdoor space here, and almost guaranteed an upgrade to a villa) and Four Seasons.

Anyone here who has tried both the FS and Oberoi? Which would you choose if you could only pick one?

Does my boy know I’m sick?

On day 3 of a horrible stomach bug and he has been incredibly patient.

He’d usually paw at me and bark for attention when he wants to go out, but he hasn’t really done that since I got unwell. He’s just been spending most of the day chilling with me.

He is still getting his evening walk from my OH but I’m too sick to do his daytime one

Any agencies specialising in go to market?

I’ve been having an app built that there’s a solid PMF for and the idea is validated.

I’m planning on launching the initial release soon, but not sure how to plan and execute a full GTM for it.

My background is in content marketing and SEO, so, while I have the site content and blogging nailed down, I’m at a loss with things like ads and SMM

Flying over Syria?

I’m flying from the UK to Asia via Doha, and I’m a little worried about flying over Syria. Qatar Airways currently flies over Lebanon and Syria, which seems a bit risky?

Kind of a weak offering for a 7 hour flight landing at 19:45

Doha to Bangkok.

Plane breakfasts always suck. I was hoping they’d have the French toast because it is very good.

However, this is a flight departing at 9am and landing at 8pm, so I’d have hoped they’d would offer a proper lunch service.

I’m sure this used to be the case? Been a while since I’ve had a long-haul morning flight.

QR wants to charge a fare difference that doesn't exist??

I originally made a booking from Manchester to Bangkok departing May 31st, returning June 13th for £2,373.93.

I now want to change the departure to one day earlier, May 30th, and the fare on the website is showing as £2,339.

I've contacted the live chat agent and they're saying the fare difference is £1,079... but the new fare is cheaper than my original, and there are no change fees right now.

"This is the best price from our end to change the flight. If you wish to proceed this is the difference of fare"

Now I've pushed back, and the difference in fare is now £219.30. But it isn't; if anything QR owes ME money for the change.

What kind of bs is this?

Boyfriend tried meth - how likely is this to spiral?`

My boyfriend has ended up in the hospital having smoked meth and having already taken viagra and used poppers during sex (we're in an open relationship of five years).

Not really anyone I can talk to about this and I'm not sure what to think. He has never done any drugs before, as far as I am aware, but he does have a history of depression and can be destructive when he's down. There was a death in the family recently, and I think there could be a connection between this and that.

He was pretty sick and went to the hospital via ambulance and he's settled now, but he was really rough when I first saw him. He definitely seems to regret what happened - but is this likely to be it now? Once you've tried it, it's going to happen again sort of thing?

He was offered the drug by some guy he was hooking up with.
