What is a good pre-made entree?

My 10 year old is having her birthday in a outdoor park. Its not really near stores...

So I'm afraid a costco pizza would get cold on the drive.

Those cold croissant sandwiches (also at costco) look good, but I'm not sure 4th graders would be particularly excited to eat it.

Which is more delicious - Oscars or Birria El Rey?

Its our last night in SD. My wife wants to try fish taco - I want to try birria.

based on youtube, it looks like these two restaurants might be good ones for fish vs birria.

Where to eat near Manchester Hyatt?

We know nothing about San Diego or traveling or food...

It's our first ever family vacation. Just 3 days in this hotel, with a 9 year old.

I guess we have decent Mexican food here in Portland, but we're still hoping to try maybe birria or fish taco on our visit.

Also SD has other mind blowing food beside mexican too - What else should we try within convenient distance from this hotel?

Which running shoes are best for "ski jump" toe nails?

I always wear open toe sandals for everything, but I have always wanted proper shoes for jogging.

I tried years ago (and failed) to find jogging shoes that didnt hurt my toenails - but now that I've discovered this reddit, I suddenly feel hopeful and renewed interest.

Which headphones are: wired, affordable, comfy, over-ear?

Wired - its ok if they have wireless option too, but I dont care/need it, and im guessing it will be cheaper without the wireless option. But I prefer wired.

Big - I have had ones in the past which claimed to be "over ear" (as opposed to "on ear") but still my ear didnt fit comfortably inside. I guess I have big ears.

Comfy - I dont care if they look goofy or something, I just need something I can wear all day long.

Affordable - I'm poor...

EDIT:
Some comments are asking for more on "affordable" - I see Costco's "Soundcore" is on sale for $65. If there isnt a lower price out there, for something comparable, then I guess I'll get this one. I dont know anything about headphones. I just figured since I dont actually need the wireless feature of this one, so there might be something cheaper, but just as good for the other aspects.

Is there anything we can't buy in Portland?

I'm in Portland, OR. Wondering if there is anything sold in San Diego, which we can't also buy here in Portland?

EDIT:
I don't understand the downvotes - I'm genuinely curious about uniquely San Diego products... This seemed like a good place to ask, but if there is a more appropriate sub, please advise.

Anyone got restless fingers?

I feel like I constantly need to stretch and flex my fingers, like pushing my lefthand fingertips against my righthand fingertips, or making fists as tight as I can.

I feel better while im doing it, but as soon as i stop, then the urge immediately comes right back.

My legs are actually fine - but when I asked the AI about my hands, it said this could be a form of RLS...

We're taking our first ever flight - what tips can you share to make it more magical for our 9 year old?

We're going to San Diego for 3 nights (from Portland). We got her a window seat on the plane, bay view from the hotel room...

What else can we do to blow her mind? Cockpit tour? Is there stuff for kids at airports?

Which affiliate platform is for mobile apps?

My product is not a saas, and does not use stripe for checkout. It's a mobile app where subscriptions are purchased via iOS & Android app store.

Is there any affiliate platform for this setup?

We are considering to vacation in LA - is this a bad idea?

My family (self, wife, 9yo child) are thinking to visit LA for a few days (coming from Portland, OR).

We don't know anything about LA or traveling - we've never really vacationed or travelled before...

But we don't want a really long flight from Portland, and we heard there are some world-class museums around LA.

So our big idea is to rent a car, and drive to/from a hotel to the museums.

I've heard LA traffic is bad... but is it really that big a problem for a trip like this?

Is there any other major problems with this plan?

Our child is actually NOT interested in Disney, so we'll be skipping that probably.

My 9yo daughter would love to have someone visit her island

If anyone is willing.

She has worked really hard setting it up, and wants to show it off to someone other than her Dad...

Email waitlist idea validation

There seem to be plenty of sites for sharing your startup, but they expect you to have a product, a demo, screenshots, etc.

And they are bloated with features only relevant to projects later in the lifecycle.

Some thought leaders suggest validating your idea via an email waitlist, before you even begin writing code.

There are several tools out there for creating the email waitlist itself - but arguably no great place for sharing/discovering the resulting waitlists.

I'm making a super lightweight place to share and discover ideas which are still in this very early validation stage.

This is simply a one-liner pitch, and link your email waitlist. Nothing more.

No screenshots. No videos. And definitely no product.
Once a project is built and shipped, its no longer eligible for inclusion here.

And while you're here, you might actually find a project you're interested in, and sign up for their waitlist. Let us validate each other's ideas with genuine interest where applicable.
