What is Nardole doing with King Hydroflax?

Matt Lucas (Nardole) is in the new season of Taskmaster. Which is a show where Greg Davies (King Hydroflax) judges people failing to do silly tasks.

Is there a lore reason this man lost to ME!?!

Hardest boss in the series so far. No cheese strategy, just learn the pattern and win! I won with a +10 Heavy Great Club and Lightning Blade to take out the King of Storms. Then drank through 12 Sunny Ds to end the fight.

Going for 100% so I have to forgo his Sword Spear and get his Miracle at Firelink, might fight again in NG+ but for now, so happy! Going to do DLC and gather any missing stuff from base game, I need to turn on the turret in Smoldering Lake again to get the Ring in the wall.

Is there a lore reason why The Nameless King kicked my butt?

I'm still going to fight him!... just might want to rethink my weapon, +9 Chaos Zwei might not be the move.... I got +5 DS Axe and +5 Vordt Hammer, but the Vordt Hammer didn't do anything to the dragon

I am calling it now, D.Mon will not replace Reinhardt (unrelated Image)

Just looking at the numbers, D.Mon has 50 more armor and a shield that has 50% less health compared to Reinhardt. Her sword swings faster than Reinhardt and hits for 60 damage vs 100 rein hammer.

I'm also going to make the judgement her fusion canon will be less effective than Rein's Fire Strike. Even if we don't know the numbers, I assume it won't be as effective as Shion or Cass pistol, and be mote a D.va pistol.

I think all you are really getting is a Hazard with a less annoying self shield.

Who would be your pick for the intitial Soldier: 76/Punisher role?

I was thinking about making a DC Allies project, just making 3 characters (a Tank, DPS, Support) and kinda force myself to learn Unreal. One of my personal rules is no Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman for a few reasons (it's boring, kinda easy, and if I were the CEO of DC Allies I wouldn't have those 3 in the first season so I can build hype for the future seasons)

For the basic Soldier DPS, the heavy infantry/marine that can sort of do everything like Punisher or S:76. Someone with a gun, a John CoD. I am kinda between Rick Flag, Peacemaker, and Bloodsport.

Peacemaker seems like the obvious choice, as he is the most recognizable, but I kinda want to go with obscure. Also if this were a real DC project, I doubt the execs would allow their mature character like Peacemaker to be with their PG 13 characters. I mean this is the same company as Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe being a T rated game...

Rick Flag, still a mature character, but he also falls into the strong moral code Soldier role. Flag can say the F word and still be in Superman. Then again, his powers would be really hard to figure out, cause he would be a John CoD. He is almost too human, I feel like I would have to build something new just for him. Maybe he gets a weapon from War World or Apokalyps?

Bloodsport could work, switching out weapons for the situation. Pulling out Grenades or some alien tech, and it still working for his character. I'd just worry about overwhelming his kit since these are supposed to be the newer player DPS characters.

What do you think? Also already picked out the first Tank, Steel who is... kinda like Superman... but also not a lot of people know him, and I think he is the best replacement Superman. And Support is probably going to be Cyborg.

How do you deal with the (Bear)Bugs?

Playing the PS3 version of Demon's Souls, because it's a physical game I own... sorry. But also because I enjoyed some of the Glitches in the old version. Don't worry about me ruining my experience, I've beaten this game before, I've been invaded by so many Scrapping Spear and Hidden Dagger users in both versions. I am just here for the vibes, old music, and the occasional 10 FPS.

What does ruin my experience is 2-2, and the fat walls of Bearbugs. With my +5 Winged Spear I deal 21 damage. I have the spear because I know these guys are weak to pierce damage.

Is there another weapon I could use? Or am I SOL and just need to suck it up and get gud.

Dumb question: What's the best weapon for spell buffs in your opinion?

Playing on PS3 (for now) I was thinking of doing Rapier buffs, then I remembered this game has some Katanas, which I never use. For the souls games I usually go strength, but for DS I wanted to be different... and do what everyone else does.

Current build is Royal with 10 str and 14 dex, but it's still very early.

How good is Bleed and Poison in this game?

Just randomly I was looking at status effects in this game, and realized Bleed works differently than other Souls games. Bleed is another DOT effect like Poison.

Then I remembered you can forge your weapons to have Poison, and apparently all Curved Swords deal Bleed.

So could I make a poison curved sword (like a Falchion) and have a possible DOT of ~400. Or am I overthinking this, and should stick with my usually BnB of Bonks and Swords?

I love Dark Souls 3, but Irithyll Dungeons... (need some help and venting frustration)

First time playing DS3, got my big FUG and a Heavy stick, learning I can roll good at 70% capacity, having fun. Then I hit the Dungeon and now I am in crampt corridors and sewers. Also that 30 Vigor and 1400 HP? Gone.

There are 7 Chests and 8 Mimics, good luck also the 8th Mimic has a buncha Basalisks. Oops.

Also, you know Sieward is here somewhere, and you want to continue his quest. Also you want to free the Witch lady and got like 2 keys... none of them work.

So upsetting, I'd rather run through Sens Fortress and Iron Keep. Farron Keep wasn't this bad. Farron Keep had poison and unemployed werewolves, I am fighting enemies with a 401k.

Right now I am at a cross roads, I killed all the jailers in the smoke circle and can go to the big structure, or jump down the pit where the Giant was. I don't know which way is the best way to go.

About to face Abyss Watchers, making sure I didn't miss anything

Heavy Mallet +4

Yoel is happy and I got 5 Dark Sigils and Yuria. Orbeck is still alive for now. I am just going to do his quest.

Patches is also alive, I haven't bought any bad Miracles

I haven't continued Leon's quest in Wall of Lothric with his key, nor have I given Rosaria any Tongues, though I might respec my points of Dexterity into Int or Faith.

I just don't want to miss anything when I go through the Watchers. I also wanted to show off my developing fashion and build... not sure about the Iron Gimp Mask.

Edit: Also forgot to ask are Whips still bad in this game?

My desktop background goes black when I play a game, and other stuff.

I have a 5 year old premade PC. That I mainly use to play games. Recently it has been struggling to play games it normally wouldn't struggle with. Usually the frame rate drops, but sometimes it crashes and I need to do a hard reset because I can't CTRL+ALT+DEL or ALT+F4.

Lately. As in last week when I exit a full screen game, the desktop background goes black. The file isn't lost nor corrupted. And when I highlight any desktop background it also blacks out the highlighted bits.

I have Windows Defender, and ran a couple scans nothing came up. My next step after this is running malware bites to see if that fixes things. My only other idea is maybe doing a clean install of Windows. I don't have anything I need to save on the computer.

Trying to understand "True Strength" and Yoel's quest

New Game cycle, trying to get everything and I am trying to understand Yoel and the Usurp the Throne ending. From what I understand, I should:

  1. Draw True Strength

  2. Die

  3. Draw True Strength 4 more times

  4. Talk to Yuria (or whoever the other lady is)

  5. Get a Fire Keeper Soul and Purging Stones to undo the Dark Sigil if I don't want to Usurp the throne. But don't give FKS if I do want to Usurp the throne.

Is this thinking correct? Or could I just not worry about hollowing and talk to Yuria after Yoel dies of being bored?

I've watched the first avaliable Doctor story from 1963, and wanted to talk about it. (The Daleks)

This being the first (complete) Doctor Who story I just wanted to ask, are there any redeeming qualities to this Doctor? Out of the 4 main characters the Doctor is the worst.

Near the beginning of the story, the group of Ian, Barbra, Susan, and the Doctor land on Skaro. The Daleks are not the universe conquering tin cans they are in the future, right now they are just... I guess dumb evil is the best way to put it. Anyway, after about 20 minutes, everyone wants to leave; Skaro is creepy, dead, and Susan has a headache. BUT The Doctor wants to see this City, no one else wants to see the city. So the Doctor makes some made up excuse to explore the city, a part isn't working.

So the group leaves to see the city and realize the headaches are caused by Radiation, so good job Doctor. The whole story is like this, there is a small victory, usually by Ian who seems to be the real Doctor, and then Doctor Companion makes it worse.

"Hey we broke the Daleks camera system", but Doctor Doof wanted to give Susan a science lesson and got captured. As they are captured, Doctor *WhyWouldYouDoThat* says he's willing to spill the beans about Time Travel to the Daleks so he could be let go. Beyond that, the first story is interesting but kinda drags. The team seems allergic to the Daleks main weakness of non metalic floors (long story).

Does this Doctor change as a character or is he static until he regenerates? Also, in case I don't want to watch all the 60's episodes, is there a watch guide? I imagine stories like The Daleks and The Daleks invade Earth are important, and I could skip stories like The Aztecs.

Why can't I coop in Cursed-Rotted Greatwood?

Trying to do Jolly Cooperation and getting stopped by the Fog Wall while someone is getting their wood rotted.

Also, why is my Ashen One's finger crooked?
