Just opened it up fresh out of the box now. Purchased brand new from Leatherman website.

Am I nitpicking or does this tool look used? and if so should I send it back to Leatherman for an exchange or a refund?

Where it says Leatherman on the pliers looks like it is discolored, inside the pliers is some kind of gunk, there are corrosion spots also on the pliers in multiple places that will not wipe off, and there is this fabric looking material all over the handle and tools that were inside the handle. Almost looks like someone used the file and didn't clean anything.

Any help is appreciated.

Love the color and for $250 brand new I figured why not. Six years of use and never broke a single part or piece of hardware.

After seeing the charisma on sale for $60, and the Karahawk on sale for $150 my curiosity got the best of me. When I picked up the charisma box my heart dropped immediately because I thought the box was empty, holy shit this thing is so light. I can already tell it is going to be one of my favorites

As far as the Karahawk... yeah not feeling this at all, I knew it wasn't a practical knife or carry worthy from the start but definitely gonna sell this lol

Paid $66k for my almost fully loaded bighorn back in February after nj taxes and fees and thought I was getting a decent deal (msrp was $68k). Now that truck can be bought off the lot for $53k before any taxes and fees and seeing i could've gotten a fully loaded Laramie or rebel for around that price or less is honestly depressing 😂😂should've waited.

Happy for everyone getting great deals just thought I'd share my fuck up with you all incase anyone is having buyer's remorse you could be in my shoes this truck is worth like $43k now lol and I haven't even done any mods to it yet😢

Probably the nicest color scheme i've seen in a bug out, and the Micarta makes it even better. I can get this knife from gov x for $280. Would you say that price is more reasonable and would you buy at that price? I've seen many people comment about how it's too expensive for even Benchmades normal pricing at $400. Let me know! Thx

Is this knife a limited edition? Why $400?

I have a zillion casting reel and absolutely love it owned it for 2 years now. I've wanted to pair it with a zillion casting rod since I bought it but I'm absolutely not paying $400 for one.

Well now every model of the zillion 24 rod is on sale for $235 and under. I read somewhere that supposedly this rod didn't sell well and is being discontinued.

I am interested in the 6'8 and 6'6 medium casting rods. The 6'6 is $212 on rod locker (it was a return). If you own one of these especially one of the models I want please let me know if you think the rod is worth it for $230! Thanks!

I know there are tons of posts like this but I'm brand new to saltwater fishing and I'm headed down to Townsend's for a few days and want some advice on where to fish and how.

The only saltwater setup I currently own is a 7 foot medium heavy spinning rod (rated 3/4-2 oz) and a 4000 size reel. If what I have isn't ideal for whatever reason id love to get some recommendations on what to use. I figured this set up is kind of a do it all besides surf.

I'd like to fish around any jetties or the bridge pilings, I know my set up isn't nearly enough for surfcasting. But if anyone can point me in the right direction on what exactly to target this time of year and what rigs / jigs to use when targeting those specific fish. I'd be fishing the bridge pilings from the beach, I don't have a boat or a kayak for saltwater unfortunately.

I live 10 minutes away from him haven't checked it out yet but just wanted to see what any of you guys thought about this truck. $7k seems too good to be true almost like he's trying to get rid of it? If I were to get it I'd definitely make it stock again, not a fan of the wheels, hood, decals or tails/ headlights. And I'd definitely get rid of that jet programmer and restore to factory. What's the first thing you'd look at if you were to go check this truck, he says there's no rust.

Thoughts? Any help is appreciated. This is also the closest one has ever been to my house. Every other one I've seen on marketplace is at least 100 miles away.

Just spent $60 on this thing and it probably has the worst opening and closing action I've ever felt on a brand new knife. I've never had to use so much force just to open a knife before there's so much resistance. It feels like there's sand stuck inside where the pivot is the grinding feeling is terrible like tight metal on metal. I've opened and closed it a million times and have added some knife pivot lube but the action is still the same. Any ideas how to fix it? I know you can't take this knife apart without basically destroying it so that's off the table. Has anyone else had this issue with this knife?

Spyderco Delica 4 Warncliffe s30v - $120

This thing is practically brand new, there isn't a single blemish or mark on the entire knife. I say practically brand new because I swapped the frn scales out with flytanium g10 and added a stubby Lynch clip. I have never carried it or used it to cut. Comes with everything pictured.
