What Do We Know About FW Atom?

Ive been riding XR and Pint for a few years now, and when my XR was “in the shop” and I was just riding my Pint, I found I really like how nimble it is. So that has me looking at the FW Atom, finger hovering over the early bird “order now” button. But I am hesitating because I do find the Pint size just a little small for me. The Atom says it has “wider footpads” but I’d really love to know the actual measurements, tip-to-tail and side-to-side, tire size, hub etc. im hoping it is more like a Growler in size/ride. I could wait for early reviews to come in I guess, but I’m not sure I can hold out!

Volvo Mechanic Nearby?

I grew up driving Volvos and have owned a few over the years. I know they can be quirky, and that having a mechanic who knows them well can be helpful. So having recently purchased another one, albeit a possibly less quirky late model one, I’m wondering if there’s a mechanic in the neighborhood who specializes in Volvos?

Our Place Titanium Sucks, Right?

I got these pans for Xmas. I specifically wanted them because of the safety, the reviews and collab with Kenji who I have appreciated in the past. I’ve given these pans a serious change but they really are the worst pans I’ve ever owned. Not only are they not non-stick, they are incredibly hard to clean. I’d rather use my stainless for just about anything. Am I doing something wrong? I’m about to throw these pans in the trash.

New battery at zero?

My XR has some power issues, so I replaced the battery with a new one today. Connected to Nosedive app and the battery says zero - sometimes blue, sometimes green. But the board seems to have power.

I’m wondering if it actually was a a battery issue or maybe BMS and whether I can ride it safely. With Nosedive reporting zero battery level, I’m wary. Is the fact that it’s reading zero mean I shouldn’t trust the board? Or does it need to be reset or charged 24 hrs or something? I had heard that 3rd party batteries sometimes don’t read accurately?

XR battery replacement

I’m replacing my XR battery today and I was using a video that explained it but that dude’s board is different than mine and seems to have an extra connector between the footpad and the controller box to make detaching it safer. I don’t have that extra connector so I’m not sure what I’m supposed twist or not - I don’t want to damage the board by twisting something that is attached directly to it. Any idea what I need to do to detach this? Pull wire A, or twist Connector B or C?

PocketRadar Management?

Hey - anyone running PocketRadar with their GameChanger? I hear it's been updated to make it easier to manage. How is it? Does the person scoring have to do it or can I just set it up and connect it if I'm not scoring the game? Pros/cons/tips?

Good Sugar-Free Recipes?

I've had the Creami for a couple of years but interest waned, and I haven't used it in awhile. But recently my wife has been diagnosed as pre-diabetic so she's trying hard to keep her sugar intake down. The other night she had gelato and it spiked, so now she's swearing off ice cream which is sad because it's something she really loves. It occurred to me that this might be just the reason to dust off the Creami and learn some new recipes!

So is anyone else in the same boat and have some great recipes? She's a fan of chocolate - her favorites that I would make were mexican chocolate and a nutella/ferrero rocher crunch that I did....

Buzzing from driver side front

Sitting in my car, turned “off” but I notice the buzzing noise - a kind of mid-range hum, coming from the driver side front area to the left of the steering wheel. It’s intermittent, comes every ten seconds or so, one long or two short bursts. It stops after awhile. I can hear it inside the car, but not from outside and I don’t feel any vibration.

Is this anything I should be concerned about? My initial through was that it had something to do with the air suspension, but it’s not the same noise as the air pump.

My son has a hand injury that is going to keep him off the field for a few weeks. Obviously he’s super bummed about not being able to play but he wants to stay active and train to whatever extent he can so that when he is able to play, he’s ready. He pitches for his team so using this time well is very important to build skills, or at least not lose ground.

The injury is to his glove hand, so he can still throw. What kind exercises and activities can he do?

Got the prancing moose, in part because I’m disappointed at how bland the Polestar badge is. Wondering should I remove the Polestar badge and put the prancing moose there instead, or should I just add it next to the other badges?
