How can i remove rust and improve look on wheels

Currently driving a 2010 Nissan Pixo and was wondering the most cost effective way to give a cleaner look on my wheels underneath the trims? Not the best picture but all 4 wheels look relatively the same. This is an old car and will only keep for another year or two therefore trying to keep costs low. Also planning to clean up and purchase some tyre shine as well as clearing up my headlights.

Also don’t worry, tyres have been inflated today

Engine coolant is brown

Went to check my coolant today on a 2010 Nissan Pixo. Discovered it looks like this currently. Going to a mechanic for a flush is likely going to be expensive, is this something i can do at home?

Edit: Took it to my local garage and it’s just rust, a few flushes and it’s fine. For context, I’ve driven this car for a month and a half in the UK, it was barely driven for the last few years sitting on my driveway. The times I’d opened the bonnet was just for an oil refill and a headlight bulb change. Was only wondering if it was even worth getting it flushed somewhere else if the cars getting scrapped soon and not worth very much anyway.

GHKCU for skin on research subject

Planning on starting a cycle soon on a research subject with GHKCU for the first time. The goal is to achieve an even skin tone, remove dark spots, remove acne scarring and improve facial hair.

Once the goal has been reached, can the subject slowly wind off or will that lead to acne issues coming back? What is an estimated timeline for mild scarring and dark spots?

What type of rash is this

Was helping with trimming and cleaning up a garden that had not been maintained for 2-3 years. I am not able to identify names of plants but there were many thorns and ivy scattered across the garden. On day 1, i was completely covered with gloves on too. On day 2, during the end i was in a t shirt and I had taken my gloves off for a period of time whilst handling the plants ( getting ready to bag them up for clean up). After that a few hours later I noticed this rash start to develop. It has been extremely itchy and seems to have spread. What is it and how should I treat it?

Choosing a new iphone

Hi, I am looking to buy a new phone for my mum within the next few months. I would probably wait for the IPhone 18 pro/ pro max to drop around September/ November and when prices drop slightly, buy the new phone. Between the 16, 16 pro, 17 and 17 pro where would you recommend i settle for? What is the most value for money option? Bear in mind she is still on an 11 pro max so her needs when it comes to a phone are not too high- good camera quality and battery life are the main concerns here.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hastings Direct insurance

Hi I recently passed my driving test and got my insurance policy with Hastings Direct starting within the next week. I have a few questions to ask.

  1. I have a 30 day period with the app policy where they will track my driving. As long as it is above 30, will there be any effect on my insurance?

  2. I hear quite a lot of bad experiences with them. Some people claiming they were cancelled randomly without being given a reason? Is this something that actually happens? Does anyone have any positive experience with them and can vouch it is worthwhile staying with them for the year?

  3. Further on question 2, if I have no claims and no undeclared mods, will I be safe from this supposed random cancellation? I only plan on using this car for the next 1-2 years and I would like to understand the risk involved with this insurance policy during this time.

Lat imbalance?

Do i have a lat imbalance or does the irregularity appear due to my excess body fat?

I haven’t had a body scan in quite a while so I am unsure what my percentage is at, probably a decent amount above 20% from the looks of things.

If it is an imbalance how can I correct it?

Finding my route to a successful future.

Hi, 18M here trying to figure my way through the next years of my life.

I grew up in poverty with a single mother of 3, having to be extremely cautious of every penny spent. However, I have always had the ambition to live a life of financial freedom, being able to afford luxuries and a lifestyle where money truly is not an issue. The current goal is to be on 10k months within the 4 years.

I have recently made the decision I want to avoid university and build myself up through entrepreneurship. Despite having plans on many different ideas I would love to bring to life, I feel quite tempted to initially start on some business models I see on social media. These range from Amazon FBA to high ticket sales etc.

I understand the harsh reality is most of what I would see on the internet is just a hook for these influencers and gurus to sell a course but I do truly wonder if there is actual legitimacy and real money making potential for me to commit my time and effort into anything shown online.

For example, looking into Amazon FBA, the profit margins are becoming very narrow, it is extremely difficult to compete against big companies with a much larger cash flow, finding a good product is difficult and making it last long term is even harder and the list goes on.

Some guidance would be immensely appreciated. Anything from real models to commit to or even general advice is all encouraged and welcomed. I would also love to hear some of your personal stories of success and how the route there was made.

Thank you for taking the time to read!
