Severed wire and don't know hot to reattach

So I just bought my first 3d printer and a wire instantly snapped. I tried to kind of stuff it in the hole but it doesn't hold :(

I'm not sure what it does but it's probably important, so I'm asking if you guys know what I could do to fix it?

The wire is the blurry one in the foreground with stuff sticking out and the hole is the 6th socket in the plastic-white thing. I think that's the extruder?

It'd be GREAT if you guys could help :D

(UPDATE!) Making Warhammer but have NEVER played!

Hello! A bunch of you guys over in r/Poorhammer loved my last post so I thought I'd update you on my progress, so if you're on of the super cool people from the last post, welcome back!

For all of you guys who weren't here yesterday, all good! This is the old post (it's very short don't worry)

My brothers birthday is tomorrow so I have to really had to pump this out quick. I did the following improvements:

- Added a new faction! The "Xorbian Sewer Rats" (Basically high tech rats that shoot sewer sludge), suggested by u/sneiejsjdb

- A heavy, tank/damage centerpiece ("Juggernaut"), suggested by u/sneiejsjdb

- More variance in abilities so each one feels VERY distinct, suggested by u/CalistusX

- Actually balanced them with a spreadsheet and everything (last image), suggested by u/TurboHammers

I'll upload a print and play version as soon as I can, and the rulebook along with it. I have a pretty good idea of what the rules are going to be like but I'd love to hear your suggestions! I've had tons of good ones but keep 'em coming!

TL;DR: Had awesome suggestions from last post, used those suggestions to improve game. Now only need to officially write down rules, but want some suggestions (eg. climbing terrain, jumping)

Thanks for all the support! Hope to see you when I upload the print and play version!

Making Warhammer but have NEVER played Warhammer

I posted this on r/Warhammer40k and a redditor said I should post this on here as well, so if this redditor is here, hello!

I wanted to make a board game as a birthday present for my little brother (we used to do that when we were kids), and decided to do something like Warhammer because I think it just looks SO COOL and it's so tactile.

So anyway, with the only knowledge I had being one introductory match I that played a year back in a Warhammer store I made this game.

I'm planning on adding another army but otherwise, I think it's good!

Making Warhammer but have NEVER Played

(Yes, I posted this in the Warhammer40k sub so sorry if you’re seeing this twice D:)

So it’s my little bro’s birthday and I wanted to make a game for him like we did when we were kids. I’ve always LOVED the idea of Warhammer but thought it‘d be too time-consuming to start (here I am making the whole thing from scratch :P).

So anyway, I’m making it now but do not know what the rules are, and obviously I could just read the manual but I’m not trying to make a 1:1 copy, just something similar. The point is:

TL;DR: What mechanics from Warhammer (or similar games) are your favourites so I can steal them and add them to my own games?

Btw if you have army-theme ideas besides “villagers” comment them PLEASE

What would help you in the Classroom?

Hey Teachers! I've recently really gotten into making small, standalone software, and wanted to make some in a way that could actually help society, so what better people to help than teachers?

Now — I am not a teacher myself, and although my dad is a teacher I'd love to hear what could help you guys personally. What are some pain-points you haven't found a solution for yet?

Looking forward to your answers :]

Make detailed maps fast, offline, and nicely viewable

So I spent a week making this and I think it turned out friggin awesome. Basically, you can make a map with pixel art (or generate one) and add notes to any pixel. The map is also saveable so you can send it over to your GM buddy or store it on a USB stick.

Let me know if there are any bugs or features you'd build in!

It's on my website

Make ugly bestiaries look Good! (And Sortable)

So I've been learning to code, and as a project I decided to build this! I made most of it myself and I think it turned out great!

Hope this helps with your homebrew monsters! If you're making your own TTRPG you could even just have a .txt file players get with the TTRPG that they can use here.

If you have any ideas for improvement, let me know. :D
