So this was my last year in my Film course that I've been doing for the last 2 years, and whilst I've released some stuff already, I've been working on a directors cut version of my final school project since there were several changes. I wanted to make.

To be clear I'm a student, I know this trailer isn't good and I'm really hoping people will be understanding of that, I am not a professional by any means. More details about it down below in the comments

Logline: a Bodyguard finds himself in a desperate escape of a gang war, and has to work with the enemy in order to make some cash to leave.

No need to thank me. I humble myself. I took holiday expecting a nice relaxing week where I can paint, go outside in nice weather, etc.

Now I have to sit inside and have sleep issues because its too fucking hot. Any winter fans, I'm sorry.

I understand my work is no where near the quality to some indie filmmakers out there, but every single experience I've had to posting on that subreddit has been negative. I asked for constructive criticism on a poster I made, and people were just were just hostile, with someone even accusing me of using AI.

I once posted one of my short films (Student, very clearly) and I only ever received one comment, which was just "Awful, terrible".

Really? This is how you want Indie/Student filmmakers to be introduced into the wider filmmaker community? By just being harsh towards them?

Like I got some constructive criticism on the poster but people were legitimately replying like they were pissed off I even posted it.

I was on twitter and these ads kept popping up over and over again, the same thing, UK Politican Nigel farage fighting some tv presenter, however the first one I saw was blurred weirdly (with a play button covering it) and I clicked it. It then took me to some fake BBC page and immediently clicked off.

I've disconnected my pc from the internet and logged out of everything, but what risk am I at for having problems in regards to bad actors stealing my information somehow. You hwar about how advanced a lot of discord scams are getting, so I just needed to be sure and ask if anyone else had seen these ads?
