Hi folks. I have a question that my brother completed his graduation in 2023 and was preparing for an exam after completing it. He wascworking in a small school in hometown (which is a small town) they use to give salary in cash and there was no pf account as well.
Now my question is I'm working in a MNC and giving the reference to him.
As it's a 3 year gap i asked him to update the school experience in his resume just for the sake of filling the resume and it was looking all empty.
I've told him if HR ask what are were you doing in that period . Tell the HR that he was preparing for competitive and entrance exams.
So in your opinion what would be the wise choice to update the school experience in resume or leave the resume blank and i don't think filling the school experience in resume would change anything. Company will still hire him as a fresher.
If i update the school experience how the company will verify the experience as there is no pf account and salary was also distributed in cash and school is not operating anymore it is closed now.
Any comments on this matter would be appreciated. Should i update the experience or not.
