My Collection
From top left to bottom right:
- ZTE Nubia Z70 Ultra / Starry Night Edition
A powerful flagship with a unique finish. This one comes equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The OS is stable and runs all heavy games smoothly. The best thing about the OS is the gaming interface/sidebar, which is the best in the industry. Other than that, the UI is primitive and rarely gets updated, but I am keeping it for the design and the gaming experience.
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
I have it just to keep myself updated on Samsung's software. It gets monthly updates and great support from Samsung. It features a desktop mode, and the cameras are good.
- Smartisan Nut 3 Pro
One of a kind. Though it lacks dark mode and NFC, Smartisan has its own useful features, including a polished desktop mode (Smartisan TNT 2.0). It offers the most practical multitasking feature in the smartphone industry for standard-shaped devices (Smartisan One Step 3.5). An irreplaceable piece of jewelry.
4. Smartisan R1
The first smartphone to come out with 1TB of UFS 2.x internal memory. The Snapdragon 845 is still performing well.
- Vivo X Fold3
The sheer number of software features it offers is amazing. I really like the Workbench, which is the closest multitasking feature to Smartisan's One Step 3.5. It gets updated regularly. [Chinese ROM] Vivo's file manager runs and edits PDFs, and Office files natively without the need for a third-party application and converts the files. A truly satisfying folding flagship. Sadly, it lacks a desktop mode. It is my main driver.
- Smartisan M1
This one launched with a Snapdragon 821 and Android 6, and it never received any OS updates. It also lacks dark mode.
- Motorola Razr Fold
Clean UI, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 performance is good. However, I don't like using Google apps as the main apps for the phone. Their desktop mode and Smart Connect features are wonderful, and it has great battery life and excellent speaker quality. On the downside, Gmail notifications get delayed; sometimes you have to open the app just to receive them. Not to mention, the Motorola gaming app actually reduces CPU and GPU performance, so I uninstalled it. It is a great foldable for productivity, but I am returning it because I bought it with a 14-day satisfaction warranty.
