I am doing prey hunts and these stupid poisoned nets keep raining from the sky and killing me. i can't move because they slow me down and then they kill me in a couple seconds.
Title. I am new to this spec (not new to healing in general) and I don't know how many hots I need to put on people. If I try to keep 100% uptime on rejuv for everyone, that's a good way to quickly run out of mana. sometimes I'll put all 4 hots on people, and I'm not sure whether to just let them sit with them and heal or start pumping regrowths into them or use my swiftmend. Basically I have no way of knowing how much future healing my hots will do, and as a result i am playing extremely inefficiently. also, the same spell could heal 2 different people for wildly different amounts, so i have no way of really just memorizing how much hp percentage wise it will restore.
I just did the Voidspire raid for the first time (yeah I know, I'm late) and maybe I missed something but i'm extremely confused as to why the Vanguard turned on the raid team. It felt like it came out of left field.
The turalyon/arator interaction during the campaign made some sense. Zul'jan was insulting Turalyon and his faith, and apparently that warrants lethal force (dude, chill out) and Arator interposed himself to save Zul'jan.
Alleria turning kind of makes some sense? Arator and Turalyon hid what happened from her, and being told the truth from Xal'atath made her flip the eff out so I understand.
But the Vanguard just randomly decides we're the bad guys? I don't even think Xal'atath has to goad them on.
I've also seen a lot of discussion lately about how the light is "evil" now (even though it isnt). Does the Light as a magic force even have the ability to influence someone's mind like the void does? Or are these people just making shit up in their head and then getting high on their own supply? I thought the light is purely a pool of magic power to draw from. People only act like it has a "will" because that's what their religion says.
Hi, I'm playing a voidweaver disc priest with the talent Shadowfiend. Even with no glyph applied, it spawns a Lightspawn instead of the regular shadowfiend. I even applied a glyph to it and then used a vanishing powder on it to make it go back to the default, but then later it reverted to Lightspawn without me doing anything. What's up?
Someone asked me a simple question as to why pick the void if it comes with the cost of madness, and that got me thinking, what is the in-universe reason to pick it? Void doesn't seem to have a monopoly on any particular skill and it comes with some pretty hefty downsides what with the risk of insanity and all that. (which never really play out in game, for some reason)
To extrapolate further, what is the point of having different types of magic in warcraft if they can all largely do the same thing? Seems like you're just picking your favorite gatorade flavor at that point.
I have been playing a lot of Solo Shuffle lately and every time I go up against a Restoration Shaman I lose horribly. I can spam Sleep Walk the whole match but I just can't beat them. They just sit there and turtle up with a thousand bullshit totems and freecast and I lose. I've tried asking my DPS teammates to put some pressure on them but they refuse. I can't keep people up in dampening and healing someone who gets sub-30% at that point is just delaying my loss.
I am trying to hit 2100 so i can get those super cool black and red weapons. I am playing holy priest and every game I get some completely unhealable idiot and as a result I go 3 and 3. This is 3 games in a row now where this happens. I can't heal them, I spam Chastise/psychic scream on the enemy healer, or sometime enemy DPS. Nothing matters. Nothing I do affects the outcome of the games. I have to rely on Timmy who just hit 90 today to actually play the game, meanwhile i'm a walking health dispenser with no agency. If the enemy team decides to set up any kind of CC chain or learns how to use their DPS rotation, there's nothing I can do.
I want the stupid weapons, but I am hardstuck at the 1950 bracket. I've been hovering on the cusp of 2000 for like 10 games now, which is longer than it took to even get to 1950 in the first place.
Should I just gear up an arms warrior? I would have to start over at 0 and deal with DPS queue times, but at least I have more control over what happens?

One of my old cell phones came with a pair of USB-C wired earbuds that I really liked. Samsung earbuds, allegedly by AKG. I love how they fit my ears, they are cheap, they sound good (to me). I've gone through probably half a dozen pairs of these things. I love them but they always stop working after a while. Usually, one ear will just get quiet or completely stop working. I am really tired of buying a new pair all the time. I'm also afraid that they will stop/have stopped making them. There's an amazon link but samsung's website has no mention of these anymore.
I also have a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds+ from many years back. I love these things. They are awesome, except that one ear has gone quiet. :( They have the same shape as the wired USB-C buds and they fit my ears perfectly. I could wear them all day and not feel any discomfort at all. Of course samsung doesn't make these things anymore, instead all they sell are apple airpods knockoffs. I don't like the airpod style.
I have a pair of Etymotic ER2SE. I am really not a huge fan of these. The "earplug" style hurts my ears and also the sound quality just isn't very good compared to even the cheap 15 dollar samsung buds. Not really sure why that's the case. I have a DAC to use with these, a FiiO KA1.
I also have tried a pair of KZ ES4 earbuds, but they are extremely uncomfortable and the quality just isn't there, either, even with the DAC.
I mostly use my earbuds to play video games on my computer. USB is preferred but a headphone jack plug is fine, too. I won't rule out wireless but they have lag which is not ideal for games. Sometimes I listen to music via my phone when I go for bike rides. I used to use my wireless galaxybuds for that but not after the one ear stopped working.
Really I'd just like a pair of the samsung buds that don't immediately break. It feels silly buying new pairs of these things all the time. If anyone has any recommendations (around 100 USD or less) let me know.

I just unlocked this jet after skipping playing the F-15A due to its awful matchmaker getting uptiered into fox-3s all the time while the F-15A only has Fox1/2. However, now that i'm in fox-3 territory all the time, I am having a miserable time. No chaff, so if anyone wants to kill me they can and there's nothing I can do about it. No air-to-ground ordnance so I can't do PVE stuff to farm RP. Only 2 AMRAAMs so I'm gonna lose any fight I get in because everyone else has more than me and with stock flight performance I don't have the speed to give my missiles more range.
What the heck am I supposed to do other than buying essential mods with GE? Hope and pray I can kill ai ground targets with the vulcan and that the enemy will leave me alone?
Spoilers for Maul Shadow Lord
By the time of MSL (which appears to be pretty early in the Empire's reign seeing as they're still using LAAT/i gunships and the early stormtrooper armor, Maul has a very small amount of people on his side. He has Rook Kast who genuinely seems devoted to him as Mandalore along with a handfull of Mandalorian mercenaries.
I want to talk about Maul's relationship to the mandalorians. So during TCW he takes over Mandalore, challenges Pre Vizsla, claims the darksaber and all that. Then Sidious shows up and beats him up. For some reason Sidious doesn't kill his "rival" and former apprentice even though this breaks the Rule of Two.
I'm a bit lost as to what happens next. Somehow between then and the last season of The Clone Wars he's back but without the darksaber and he's back on mandalore?
And now in Shadow Lord he has Rook Kast who is loyal, and a handfull of mercenaries who only care about money. What happened to the old death watch "lets retake mandalore" folks? Why do these guys have no loyalty to maul?
I am trying to play Payday 2 with my friend and my game keeps freezing every so often. It will freeze for a few seconds and then everything goes back to normal sometimes, but other times it disconnects my friend if I'm hosting or it disconnects me if my friend is hosting. I have asked my friend and my friend is not experiencing these freezes.
I have tried using both normal mode and 2021 CPU mode (I have a computer from 2018 with an i7-8750H CPU). I've tried removing my mods. Not really sure what else to do. I need help because the game is unplayable like this.
