- Daisy Duck's design from the mid-1940s Jack King cartoons is used.
- Huey, Dewey, and Louie's designs from the mid-1940s Jack King cartoons are used

If Disney ever made a 3rd Goofy Movie what would you want it to be about?
Not sure if they ever will (And if they did it would prob be on Disney Plus) but it’s for sure very nostalgic for lots of people and Max and Powerline appear to be showing up in more and more merch in the parks as time has gone by so Disney definitely recognizes it
But if they did what would your wishes for the movie be?
Honestly I don’t think they’d do another “sequel” but instead would do another movie that takes place before the first movie or in between the 2nd and 3rd because they’d want it to appeal to kids
And as much as I’d love to see Max married to Roxanne with kids and Goofy as a Grandpa 😅 I don’t know if Disney would want that since he works really well as just being Max’s dad already
Made this Criterion cover for CvA a while back...
Superman (1941–1943): The Ultimate Fleischer & Famous Studios Collection (1941–1943) - Boutique 4K Release
Since the 2023 Blu-ray release was criticized for recreating every DVD error, making new errors for this release, compression issues, DNR, poor color timing, and compromised audio quality, maybe someday Warner Archive and George Feltenstein might make a 4K/Blu-ray combo release of all 17 films to fully resolve all the issues from the 2023 Blu-ray, using the same raw 4K scans from WB, but with no errors. The 1080p disc should have the 4K restorations.
Here is what should be done for this:
- 4K digital restorations of all 17 films, approved by Warner Archive and George Feltenstein
- Restored original mono in LPCM 1.0 mono
- One 4K UHD disc of the Fleischer films, another with the Famous Studios films, both presented in Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10, and HDR10+, and two Blu-ray discs with those films and special features.
- Original film grain restored.
What do you think?

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie (2024/2025) - Boutique 4K Release
It would be cool if Shout! Select or Kino Lorber put together a 4K/Blu-ray boutique release for The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie (2024/2025) though. Ketchup can license it and WB can put together some audio commentaries, deleted scenes, and other extras worthy of purchasing.
- 4K digital master, approved by director Peter Browngardt, with Dolby Atmos soundtrack
- One 4K UHD disc of the film, presented in Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10, and HDR10+, and one Blu-ray with the film
- Alternate 7.1 surround DTS-HD Master Audio
- Audio commentaries with Pete Browngardt, Alex Kirwan, Eric Bauza, and Candi Milo
- Isolated music track with PDF link provided for anyone to study Joshua Moshier’s full musical score.
- Play movie with Animatic and Pencil Test Side-by-Side
- Still galleries of production art
- Deleted scenes
- Trailers
- Featurettes with cast, crew, and fans.
- Introduction from Pete Browngardt
- Bonus Bob Clampett-era Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts.

MeTV Toons will have a event to celebrate CVA!

No details have been revealed yet, but it will be called MeTV Toons Presents: No Refunds, An ACME Celebration, and it will be an hour-long event.

Looney Tunes references in The Simpsons
I remember a few of them but there are quite a lot more than I realized. Found on list on the Simpsons wiki.

My favorite reference would be Marvin Martian's cameo in "The Springfield Files".
I found the original Tom & Jerry clip that inspired the Yak stunt in Jackass 2
Pink Pajamas (1964)

Noveltoons - Cilly Goose (1944)
Credit to Adam Fortner for reconstructing the titles and color correcting the cartoon.
Enjoy!
Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town (1970) [2023 Restoration]
From YouTube by AJFortner2003.
Directed by Arthur Rankin, Jr. and Jules Bass.
Released on December 13, 1970.
Footage ripped from the 2022 Universal Blu-ray (and 4K) release and fixed the Rankin/Bass logo because they added a fade in.
Hope you enjoy!
Santa Claus is Comin' to Town is owned by NBCUniversal.
