If your college Profs say things like - “this one is really important for exams; “that question may come”, “this will be the test pattern” etc | That college is useless degree mill. | No IIT, NPTEL lecturers say that. | STEM/Engineering should be learnt by doing (projects)

It's just TN/KL state board school education repackaged higher education.

If they give questions beforehand or predefined set of questions for exams, then both teaching & learning failed

In 2026, if they ask to maintain class work, notebook, hand written assignment, lab record notebook etc🤡🤡🤡 that old school college is useless

Just ask your friends at IITs NITs IISc or even some private ones like BITS, Manipal, Amrita, VIT or whatever. All this old school nonsense won't be there

Most core engineering subjects should have a mini project evaluation weightage.

In my IIT H even math course had code implementation: lab simulation based learning using MATLAB, Python, Qiskit, and Excel/Simulink, etc

Some tier 3 college in my state give previous year question & teacher teach only those & not lecture the concept/syllabus.

Do all this nonsense & wonder why no placements or bad graduate outcome.

Eg in CSE/software, You have to go to company & work on large architecture, bigger codebase, you have to understand every system design principles, data structures, algorithm, optimize everything, work on math/stats & data, not get some questions & write answers. If you study in those type of colleges, your aptitude will not improve

Removing soft ragging 2030 batch

So i will be joining nit jamshedpur this year as a fresher

And I got to know in 2026 still many seniors and this college nit jsr have sir/maam culture along with soft intro which is nonsense just a way to satisfy ego

My friend last year joined iiest shibpur and there whole batch collectively took a stand and doing everything to change the culture of college ( there was same culture as nit jsr ) and they were successful offcourse it can't change in 1 year but by the time out batch becomes senior it will definately change

My urge to everyone joining this year nit Jamshedpur UG batch and all seniors who understand that this is something that needs to be changed let's stand against it

this thing is not accepted in 2026

I can't do anything alone. I would need support from everyone in the 2030 batch and also seniors who are against this

It is no longer a Protest. It is a movement now. Be a part of it.

P M must resign. We are not here to pay your foreign trips

EDIT : It is more than 6hr i posted it. I read many positives and many negetives. Honestly, I dont really care about the negetives, because i know that we collectively are equally responsible for it, but i will keep raising my voice.

A humble request to any protestor out there.

I think this will create a big impact among the people. This can make our goal more clearer. 45 Exams is not a joke. 4 crore students are not anti nationals.

Please make sure that poster is large enough to be readable from distance also.

Thank you

Your fellow affected student
